Dresses!

We finally found some dresses!! I hardly ever splurge for

nice dresses and as soon as I want to I can't find dresses anywhere!!! What a hastle it was to shop for dresses for these two! But we finally found cute dresses that will do great for Becca's wedding in a few weeks. The picture makes them look black but they are purple with butterflies and flowers. We even found a dress for Brielle that matches the pink butterflies on their dresses. I love matching the girls and I'm so glad they love matching, too!

She's 3 months!

Can't believe it!!!! She's 3 months old today!!! She has discovered her toes, she smiles at everyone who catches her eye, she almost laughs when tickled, she rolls over to her back, she babbles and coos, she spits and blows bubbles, and she is the most loved baby ever! Sometimes she gets a little too much love from her big sisters!
The biggest eyes that sparkle when she smiles!

She loves to blow bubbles and squeals after she blows a good one!

Another daddy's girl!

She is seriously an easy baby! She falls asleep whenever she's tired and where ever she happens to be.

The view from our apt.

We live on the 16th floor! Wow is that high up! I get dizzy every time I go out for the view. We have our own flight deck as we watch the large commercial jets coming in to land. Although it is rather annoying to be in the middle of a conversation when that happens! But see how beautiful the view is! And the parking lot below is a mini land of micro machines!

The Washington Memorial Bridge. We drove over this bridge at 5 AM when we moved out here. Just above the left side of the bridge is National Harbor which we have yet to explore, but we have heard that Disney bought property to build a resort. How fun!!

The picture above is looking North. We can see the capital!!! As you can see below, it is a zoomed in picture. You may have to open the picture to be able to see. But up on the roof you can see the capital and the monuments. We've been told it's a spectacular view for the fireworks on the 4th of July! And the next weekend we get a front row seat to the Fireworks right here of the river!
The night views are awesome also!!! In the one below you can see the capitol building in the center all aglow! And in the next one is the National Harbor with all the lights luring in the visitors.

One afternoon we had a HUGE thunderstorm blow in. It was spectacular!!!!! We watched it rolling in, then witnessed the opening of the floodgates as the rain poured down and obscured any visibility, then it slowly drifted out leaving the sky a soft, pale purple above the glowing capital. It was stunning!

Happy Birthday Allison!

My little Allison turned 3! She was so excited to be three! We celebrated with a trip to Chuck E Cheese's Pizza. The pizza was cardboardish as usual, but the company was worth it! Thanks Phara, Ashley, and the Madsens for helping us celebrate!

Family picnic

The Law firm Eric is working for this summer hosts a family picnic for their associates every summer and it was a great beginning to our summer.

They had a bouncer for the kids. Allison spent nearly the entire picnic bouncing!

A clown for face painting and balloons- The girls were first in line and got some really cool paintings - A soccer ball and a unicorn.

I won the limbo contest and thankfully Eric didn't get a picture! (there weren't a lot of people attempting it, but I was impressed with my ability to bend backwards with only 2 months after giving birth!)

Eric won the balloon toss with another temp. atourney, Sam from England. Kallyn was my partner and we broke about 7 balloons trying to toss them to each other. She figured it was me, she she fired me as her partner and found a "champion" balloon tosser! She soon fired him, too. But not before getting him wet! She actually tried to launch a balloon at him and her aim was so off she soaked a girl 5 groups over!!! It was wo funny because no one knew where the balloon came from and Kallyn had no idea where her balloon went!

Kallyn was convinced that she won the lime relay race although the first round we were last, second round we got faster, but still were last, and by the 4th round we full out cheated and finally Kallyn just asked if she could have a metal for playing. Man, the poor girl just couldn't get a winning team together!

We couldn't help showing off our big joy with the big flower!
And the messy award goes to...

Landon! The cutest icecream lovin little boy at the park!
And the drenched award goes to...
sweet Livia! Was a cutie! Sure made me want to jump in the puddles!
And then after all was said and done my little ones decided to jump in the puddles, too!
Allison was swimming in the Volley Ball pit! Thank goodness for the hand dryers in the bathroom. 30 minutes later the kids were dry and dragged off to the car to save us from further embarrassment!
