Well, I'm thinking that since Easter was the last time I posted any pictures, why not keep with the "holiday" theme and throw some Christmas photos up. I think everyone's moved from the "blog phase" to the "facebook phase", which is equally as great, but just not quite the same.
Apparantly our dog, Jessie, chewed a hole in Santa's bag as he came in the door, and so all of the gifts were left in one big heaping pile on the floor! Luckily Santa had marked an initial on each package of who it belonged to, so the kids just had to sort out the gifts before they opened them. Stupid dog. Santa left a note explaining what had happened, and asked us to please tie up our dog next year.
We were all spoiled rotten! I have a few pictures of the craziness that this pile included, but most of the pics come later on, when the "family gift" was hooked up. I think everyone was a little bit surprised when they opened the gifts marked with an "F". lol.
Can you tell they are excited by the looks on their faces? lol

Along with the Wii, he also brought a game called "Just Dance." lol. We have already spent many hours dancing in the family room, and quite honestly, the family room now smells like a GYM LOCKER ROOM!!!!!!! YUCK! However, much fun has been had.

The pictures do NOT do justice to the crazy dancing that I'm sure my neighbors were witnessing through the windows. :)

And YES even Soto joined in on the dancing, however, I do value my life- he would KILL ME if I posted the pics on the internet! LOL . But TRUST ME ON THIS ONE..... VERY VERY FUNNY! "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?"
lol.
We had a fabulous Christmas!!! Hope you all did too!

Top Ten reasons
Top TEN reasons why I miss SADIE!!!!
10. Still no tunnell. Still no hot tub.
9. Late night conversations, sitting on the counter top.
8. Stealin' ideas from the Stampin' Up Catalog.
7. Late night drink runs.
6. Vegas baby!!!!!!!
5. Borrowing sugar, flour, measuring utensils, cookie sheets, you name it...
4. Mailbox visits.
3. Planning Jeff's "pimp my ride" on the Chevy Luv!
2. Yard work together... planning, buying, planting flowers, daily flower walks to pick the little weeds, RED HOT POKER envy.... shall I go on???
and the #1 reason I miss Sadie..... Snowshoveling at 1:00 am with the car running and the keys locked IN!!!!
I love ya miss Sadie and I miss ya!!! One of these days our timing will be good when you come to Utah to visit and we can actually hang out!!!

SPRING!!!
Glimpses of Grass instead of snow...
I'm sooo looking forward to:
Saint Anthony Idaho! Who needs vacation homes in Mexico? My dream vacation home is located in St Anthony Idaho, home of the SAND DUNES!!! :) I'm going to be the old grandma from Napoleon Dynamite who's duning at 90 years old!
Glendale! Boating, Camping, Sunbathing, Late nights and Loud Campfires, (no drama this year hopefully), Wakeboarding, no tubing please.
The BOAT REGATTA! Burley, Idaho! We are sooo there!
Baby Zeek's debut! Can't wait Suz! You better let me babysit that darling little fetcher!
A nice freshly mowed lawn. (Mowed by my favorite step-son in the whole world...hint hint) He mows it best. :) Love ya Bailey!
Longer Days! I hate it when it gets dark so early! The kids hate it too. They are definately outside kids.
Back to the Gym! Not that I can't go during the winter, but it's very hard to make a 5:30am gym class when you have to scrape the ice off of your windshield and let the truck warm up before you can go.
FLIP FLOPS. 'Nuff said.
And, of course, TRAP SHOOTING! I love hunting, but I love more shooting trap. After all, you get as many targets as you want, no hiking for days, and you always get at least one. This year we're going to try the Malad shoot. I'd better get some practice in before then and may need to dust off the shotgun! And I miss my gun club friends, and Heather's weekly meals! :)
Not looking forward to:
Dance Competition Season. :( For those of you involved, you feel my pain, I know you do. Tiff- let's go together this year, since I am positive neither one of our husbands will be drug along again.
Tax season. This one came early. Again. URGHHHH!!!! Every year I swear to be diligent in my bookkeeping so it wouldn't be so bad. But, it's here again, and again I'm behind.
Easter. I do not like Easter, I do not know why. This probably stems from trying to find 5,235 miniture football chocolate things. Amy will understand. (Remember when we put them on the fan in mom's room? Or was that Greg that helped me? ) Funny.
Digging out the boxes of spring/summer clothes and putting the winter ones away. If I enter the storage room and am not out in 15 minutes, come looking for me, k? (I am my mother's child on this one.)
I am sure there are more, but I'm not going to dwell on the negative.
I'm going back out to look at the grass. And maybe try on my riding gloves and make sure they still fit. :)
