I always thought that if one of my children were to do this, it would be Ned.
Take one handy screwdriver and one electric socket = one scared mommy.
And you know the real kicker, the socket had a protective cover on it as well. But that didn't stop my child, he just stuck that flat head under the edge of the cover and wiggled it in.
Luckily he was not hurt. Papa has really nice screwdrivers with lots of padding and insulation on the handle. Still, Papa should not have left said screwdriver next to the electic socket he's been trying to work on. Ned did blow the fuse and it took a little while to get it to switch back on.
Papa found the screwdriver sticking out of the socket and Jimmy and Ned sitting in the dark in the next room. Ned got a good scolding.
He's just too clever, he likes to figure out how to do things. Like opening child proof medicine bottles, work with Daddy's tools, and pry the protective covers off of electric sockets.
Sorry, no pictures, we were too busy being sick to our stomachs with fear and regret.
