Our Gymnast

Savannah is becoming quite the amazing gymnast. Today her coach talked with me about his confidence in her gymnastics career. She is incredibly strong and also flexible. She doesn't get nervous at competitions, and she takes criticism well.

I am having a blast watching her progress, and always look forward to the time I spend watching her. It's deeply satisfying to see my daughter develop her talents.

So much has happened!

So much had happened since my last post!

In less than a year, we have added a baby to our family, bought a new house, bought a new car, and so much more!

Life is good for the Hinze family these days.

Rod's business is thriving, everyone
Is healthy, we just feel so incredibly blessed.

I need to do a lot of catching up on memories from the last little while but don't want to miss out on recording what's going on now.

Today I am enjoying this lovely view from my bedroom window, of 4 year old Lila bouncing on the trampoline.

She is so full of energy and spunk, we are certainly lucky to have her in our family!

Boys

Will and his buddies just crack me up. There's something so adorable about little boys.

Mighty Dragons

Will's soccer team just celebrated the end of another great season! Rod coached the practices and Will improved so much. He scored several goals this season. We are so proud of our little dragon!

Will's 5th Birthday Party

Will turns 5 this week and we celebrated at an indoor swimming pool. We had the place to ourselves and the kids loved it.

I was especially proud of my killer whale sugar cookie cake (that's a ninja riding on top)












Happy 5 Will! We love you so so so so so so much!!!

Ward Halloween Party

I organized the ward Halloween Party this year. We all had such a fun time.

The Bouncehouse was the highlight of the night

Halloween was fantastic this year. After much deliberation, the kids all decided on their costumes and all were super happy with their decisions.

Sunday on the Katy Trail

We spent our Sunday afternoon enjoying cooler temperatures out on the Katy Trail.

Savannah couldn't stay out of the bamboo...



And Buster finally learned how to walk on a leash!



We are so thankful for fall weather!

Texas State Fair

We love love love the Texas State Fair. It was extra special this year because we got to share it with grandma!

Arboretum

My mom came into town last week and brought 7 days of fun-filled adventure!

Her favorite part of the trip was the Arboretum. It's always a hit in October!

Hyer Carnival

I can't think of anything that make my kids happier than a handful of cotton candy.

Pretzels and a Bike Rodeo

Friday morning was a busy one as we headed to Will's school to bake homemade soft pretzels with his class...


And then rushed over to Savannah's school to watch her ride in the Bike Rideo



Both activities were lots of fun and we feel so lucky to have such amazing schools.

First Haircut

Buster got his first haircut and couldn't look cuter.

The girls and I loved the bow but it drive Will crazy!
