The Massacre!

So this is my question to anyone who see this.. Have you ever seen anything this bad? I was giving hair cuts the other night.. Hailee and Katelee had been wrestling around and got to laughing so hard gum ended up in Katelee's hair. She had been begging to have her hair cut short for a while so I just decided to go for it. After Katelee's, Hailee wanted hers cut also but I just trimmed hers because the week before she was saying how she wanted it long again. During all of this Rebecca came in and wanted in on the action, I told her that we would have Rayel cut it in a couple of weeks. Rebecca is really obsessed with scissor right now anyway, she cuts out her art work everyday.. So I was sure to make a point and tell her only mommy or her Auntie's can cut her hair.

So after cleaning up I was helping Hailee with some homework. Rebecca came in with a card and asked if she could cut out the birthday cake, she had her school scissor so I told her yes at the counter and to throw away the scrapes. This is the sneaky part... I was at the opposite table with the hair cutting scissors and she some how ended up with them. I didn't even realized what had happened for a good half hour, we were putting the kids to bed and Ryan asked me why are you saving all of this hair. We thought Tessa had taken it back out of the garbage can, but when I started picking it up and realized how much hair there was and that it was exactly where she had been I freaked.

We called her in and she looked normal her sides still long and everything looked great until she turned. I laughed so hard I cried.. I heard many a stories from my mom about Becky and her scissor days. I so wanted to compare notes with mom because I'm pretty sure this one even beets Becky cutting our neighbors hair just so she would live to see another day! Not only did Rebecca inherit Becky's name she also apparently inherited her taste for cutting hair!

After evaluating the damage, it was worse than we thought, she had cut little pieces all through out her hair, so Rayel came to the rescue. Rebecca got her wish and I guess all and all she still looks pretty cute. Hopefully it will be just right for my dad's wedding in a month, otherwise we will have to find a cute hat!

This was done with scissors mind you, it looks like she took clippers to it.

Not as bad in the front, which I guess was actually better.

This is the after.. I love that I can see her cute little ears and her earrings. She is still my cute little Rebecca!

Looks just like a boy from behind..

And this is what started it all. I think it makes Katelee look so grown up.. She loves it.

Halloween Monsters!

Better late than never! This is the motto to my life right now.. I thought I would finally get my pictures of kiddo's from Halloween posted. I would say they were anything but scary, but still definitely little monster's. All and all Halloween was a lot of fun, the kid's got way to much candy. Ryan and I are terrible, I wonder if we are the only parent's who sneak there kids candy.. It's definitely the last thing I need right now, but it is O' so good!

They all stood still long enough for a quick shot!

McKenzie was a PRETTY Witch, she didn't want to be a scary one.

Mason was suppose to be a Scary Clown.. His mask was awesome but we just couldn't make it work. So last minute he threw on a ski mask , not sure what he actually was but it worked.

Hailee was a QUEEN not to mixed up with a Princess.

Katelee was our Little Mulan! I thought she looked super cute.

Rebecca was a cute Little Pirate. Her eye patch just didn't work for her so this is about all we could talk her into.

Finally our little Tessa, she is actually the monster I was talking about.. She is such a FART right now, she must be going through her terrible 2's. Anyway she was suppose to be a Butterfly Princess but she refused to wear her wings, her Tutu and her little antennas. Should be a really fun year with her!

THE RAINBOW

THE RAINBOW
We cannot grasp it in our hand.
It's beginning and end we cannot see.
That brilliant multicolored band
He placed in the sky for you and me.

It's His promise of a brighter day
long after this storm has passed,
to remind us in a special way
that these sorrows will not last.

I have wanted to post something and have had a hard time deciding what. I am such a big boob right now. I guess I could blame it on pregnancy. I think I did a good job keeping myself numb for along time. It has hit me so hard, I feel very selfish because I need her so much. I know she is helping to prepare this new little spirit that we will be blessed with, and yes that makes it a little easier. But I do feel very cheated.
My sister sent me this awesome picture she took with her kids a month ago. I think I have told most of my friends how important rainbows have become to me and my children, actually not just me all of our family. My mom loved rainbows and was known to take pictures of them whenever she saw them. After we had picked out my moms casket, I was really struggling and just need some reassurance. Ryan and I had just stopped to pick our kids up and there wasn't a cloud in the sky but behind us there was this beautiful bright rainbow. I knew without my kids even saying it (which they did) I believe it was sent for us. Since then I haven't been back home without seeing a rainbow.
My friends new this and for Christmas had this beautiful poem and a picture that my mom had taken of a rainbow over the Snowflake temple mounted in a picture frame. What can I say to my friends besides thank you. The lord has truly blessed me with the best of friends. They have saved me thousands of dollars in therapy! They all are so good to call on those awful days. I love you guys..
To my family, I do know that I have the BEST family.. This year is a year I would love to just forget, open my eyes and pretend it was a awful dream. All the firsts were so hard and I know mom is greatly missed by all the grand kids. I pray that more than anything we can do her proud and raise our children the way she raised us. I pray that we can always keep her memory alive for us and our kids. And I pray that we will do our part to be together FOREVER.

Happy Birthday Sis!

Today is my sister's Birthday. It has been a hard year for all of us. My Birthday was hard, being the first one with out my mom. I just wanted to tell her how much she means to me, we had such an amazing childhood. We pretty much always shared a room and I don't think that there were to many fights. We were both big scaredy pants, I remember being so scared at night and just rolling over and knowing she was there beside me made everything right again. I don't think there was a night we didn't here mom yell just go to sleep all ready, after talking and laughing all hours of the night.I guess that is pretty much how it still is..She has always been there for me. I am grateful to have you as my sister and best friend. Here's looking forward to a great year. Love you sis.

I love this picture. My kids do the same thing.

I still have the dress.

The look on Brett's face is priceless, I think he got the short end of the stick and ended up with just church clothes!

I loved playing volleyball with you.

I love you, Happy Birthday

Bring's back old memories!

OK so the other day I bribed my kids

Me..Hey if you guys get all your chores done tonight we can get up and play make believe in the morning.

Kids..Wow that will be so much fun. Can we play Barbies and Polly-Pockets?

Me.. Sure if you get everything done.

Turns out I'm not so good and playing imaginary anymore. Truth be told I didn't really ever play with barbies to much, but I sat down to play with them and was fine with it all until McKenzie started making rules. She told me I couldn't be silly and I had a prom I had to get my girls ready for, and I couldn't come in her house I had to find my own. Anyhow I'm a terrible parent because I couldn't stand it! It took all I had to play even for a few minutes so instead I talked them into doing something I use to do when I was their age. They had a blast and it let me off the hook. Poor Mason was relieved even though his GI Joes are always part of the make believe he gets sooo sick of it!

I think we will try being little people next and exercising!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAYEL!

So I have spent the last hour and a half trying to post pictures of Ray and I when we were growing up on Facebook. Oviously I am not the smartest thing in the world! I just wanted to wish one of my best friends HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I couldn't find all my pictures, there are so many good ones I wish I had some from Junior High with our high bangs and blue eye shadow or even some from my wedding. But honestly I know it sounds so cheezy but my favorites I can't share,I guess they are more memories than pictures. Memories of all the sleepover's, us trying to pee like boys, playing barbies with Billy Watson, jumping off the shed with garbage bags in the wind, catching you kiss Jeremy Lewis in Rosanne's basement, the Freddie Kruger movies, looking for your stash. Seriously I could go on forever. Ray you have been there for me through thick and thin. I don't think you know how much your friendship means to me. I look up to you in so many ways. You are such a awesome person and example to all.

Me, Becky, and Rayel

I love the Chicken legs! I wish I knew how to do live feed I have this whole dance on video somewhere!

My favorite grade school Teacher and class..Guess I'll go eat worms!

What's my problem?

OK so obviously I have gone way beyond procrastination! I have really had a hard time with staying motivated in just about every area in my life lately and I feel bad because I should be showing my kids off and just enjoying every moment. So here is to a new commitment of trying harder.

A few things that have gone on since my last blog. I think they are in order except my babies 1st Birthday should have come after our trip to the park. The 1st ones are Hailee, she wanted me to show everyone she had lost her 2 front teeth. Believe it or not it happened just before Christmas so she had fun telling everyone that was all she wanted. Her and Mason are such nerds!

Next was Tessa's Birthday. She turned 1 on my birthday, best birthday present ever. This year my Birthday was a hard, my first one with out my mom. I guess there will be a lot of firsts. Tessa loved all the attention and if you look close she did have a fork!

Next was a fun trip to the park in Queen Creek. I miss going all the time it was such a great secret. I loved meeting my friends and talking and just letting the kids run crazy!

A couple of pictures of Rebecca and Tessa sitting on a ladder not letting Ryan and I get anything done. And finally Easter Baskets and Easter Dress's except for little Mason, shirt and tie!

Sorry it is a long one. I promise to do better I'm kind of excited to start this again.
