Christmas Tree Trip

I love to get our Christmas Tree each year up in the Mountians!! We love that experience, and it was loads of fun wiht the Hot Chocolate, Quads, and Chili. Best of all was being together as a family. I love my kids, and luckily I have the best spouse ever, so pretty much being with the fam is the best treat I could ever have. Adam

A Favorite!

My mom brought home some pistachios one day and the kids went crazy over them. After we put them away and carried on with our day, that night I were finishing cleaning everything up and as I turned around, they had gotten back into the bag of nuts and were silently eating away. All three very occupied. It was cute and funny as I had no idea that they were doing that, and I was right there in the same room with them. Pistachios are definitely a favorite around our house!

Temple Square

A couple weeks ago I trecked with my kids to Utah, as Tyson wanted to go to the Bountiful Temple. I was determined to take my kids to Temple Square because I remember when I was a kid, it was the neatest, most special place to be. I loved watching the brides and seeing all the flowers, and just feeling the spirit in abundance. I want my kids to have that experience as much as they possibly can. The last time we were there, Brailee was only 9 months old. So it was fun having three there, and having them much older to experience it. We were there for a good 2 1/2 hours and they never got tired or complained once. It was a beautiful, warm day. They loved going to the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and seeing the view from so high. Brailee said, "Wow! I can see the whole world from up here!" They each had to take a turn with the camera and capture the little cars driving on the street, the buildings, and the temple spires. It was well worth the drive to create such great memories.

Swimming Lessons

Daiken LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to be in the water. After being so good at tagging along with mom to all of Brailee's doings, we finally signed Daiken up for swimming lessons. This little kid is truly a fish. He can't keep his face out of the water. His teacher has to keep reminding him to keep his ears out of the water so he will be able to hear what she is saying. He has no fear. He started out as a "Minnow" and is now in the "Guppy" class. He is so fun to watch as he gets so excited about being in the water. He is learning how to do big arm circles and kick his feet at the same time. He tries with all his might but doesn't even move forward at all. But he doesn't notice because as soon as lessons are over and I wrap his towel around him he says, "Did you see me go so FAST? I went faster and faster and faster!" He loves it, so I suppose, right now, that's all that matters!

Tyson and Daiken

One day I took Tyson outside so I could take pictures of him for his birthday and Daiken was curious as to what we were doing. He of course wanted his picture taken too. I thought this one was super cute.

Estee Ann is Two!

When everyone had walked away, Estee found the perfect opportunity! She climbed on top of the table and dug right in to her cake. She was loving the freedom of being alone and un-supervised.

Estee opening presents. A new baby!

Estee had a fantastic birthday...besides the fact that she came down with strep throat the very day she turned two. Poor little girl, she had an ear infection on her first birthday. I hope she isn't setting a pattern. Go figure that she would be sick on her birthday when it is in July, the middle of summer.

Where Is Jesus?

Today during the sacrament I was helping Daiken stay focused by talking about Jesus. Daiken paused and asked, "Mommy, where is Jesus?" I said, "Well, Jesus is in heaven, but when you pray, he always hears you and whenever you need help, he will always help you." Daiken responded quickly, "Oh good because when I need help building my blocks, he will help me."

I love this simple faith. In all of the things our Savior has to do, in Daiken's eyes, He will put all that aside to come and play bocks with him.

Baby #4

Hello to Baby #4!
This is a photo of the first ultrasound taken on July 02, 2009. This showed that this baby is 12 weeks and 3 days old and 5.8 centimeters long.
We were shocked at how far along we were and how big the baby is already. We are thrilled and so excited for this new addition.

BEAUTIFUL BRAILEE

Just wanted to show you all how stinkin adorable and absolutely BEAUTIFUL my daughter is. She just had her spring dance recital on Saturday and she dance to the song, "On a Good Ship Lolly-pop". They even got a real lolly-pop to pick up at the end of their dance routine and she thought that was so grand.

My mom bought Brailee some flowers that were just her size with a ton of glitter on them. As we were riding home, Brailee was holding her flowers and smelling them, and then a light went off. She gasped and said, "Is this my graduation from dance? Because Tyson graduated from school and he got flowers, so this must be my graduation from dance because I have flowers." She was thrilled and SO excited to have her own flowers. Thanks Nana!

Can you believe how grown up my little Brailee is?

How old are you Daiken?

Daiken is getting real good at keeping his little pinki finger down while he shows you he is three. It's been a work in process. He's been practicing and practicing.

Happy Birthday Daiken!

Happy Birthday to Daiken! What a fun day we had with a sweet little boy, who says he's a "grown-up" (thanks to cousin Kimber). As soon as Daiken woke up, Brailee rushed in and gave him a big morning hug and said, "Daiken Let's see how tall you are. You are a big boy now."

Daiken tried hard all day to get his pinki finger to stay down so he could show everyone that he was three.

We went to Red Robin for dinner so Daiken could get a balloon and have everyone sing happy birthday to him. He didn't know what to think about that! He pretty much just stared at everyone with a blank face.

Daiken had a Diego cake. This was a hard decision. He couldn't decided between a Rocket cake, a Car's cake, or Diego. But his favorite color is green, so he decided he for sure wanted green balloons, so we figured a Diego cake would go best with green balloons.
He had a great birthday as far as gifts are concerned. He couldn't have gotten any better presents. Everything he wanted.

Here's a picture of Estee and Daiken playing in the sand box that Grandpa Walker and Nana got for him.

Daiken is the sweetest boy. He is nice to everyone he meets. He has the stinkin cutest smile as he always pulls cheesers. Daiken is the best brother to his sisters and loves to play with them. Daiken loves to play pretend and is always having pretend conversations. Daiken is such a boy. I can't even immitate the sounds that come out of his mouth. He loves nursery and takes care of Estee. He loves balls, digging in the dirt, he loves cars and trains, and most of all he loves to wrestle with his daddy. We love Daiken and are SO glad he is a part of our family. He is our buddy boy, eventhough he'll tell you he is "just Daiken".
