CAMPFIRE IN THE CANYON

For Adult Night last Saturday we went up AF canyon and had a little campfire. We cooked tinfoil dinners and roasted marshmellows for smores. The girls went on a strenuous hike (it was strenuous to us) up the mountain and found a really pretty open area. We were having a little too much fun with the camera. It was really dark and we couldn't see anything. So we would just count to 3 and take a picture to see what people were doing. It was a fun getaway from kids.

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON

People have always told me that Mason looks a lot like Cory. I never could see it until I walked in and saw them both sleeping the other day. It was fun to see the father - son resemblence.

PROGRESS!

We have been trying to potty train him on the regular toilet, but not much was happening. So we bought him his own potty and he absolutely loves it. He carries it around from room to room. It sings and talks. It has it's own pretend flusher which he thinks is so cool!

HORSEY RIDE

Mason went for a little horse ride with his cousin Kaytlyn. The horse's name was BJ, and he won't stop talking about him. He loved riding around and around.

ICECREAM WITH KAYTLYN

We have been babysitting my sister's kids for the last week and Mason has had fun playing with the kids. The other day I caught Kaytlyn and Mason outside sitting on the porch sharing an icecream. It was cute.

GOVENOR'S DAY

Last Saturday was Govenor's Day and Cory had to march in front of the Govenor. We went to watch and see all of Utah's military come together. It was interesting to see how many there were. I definitely have an appreciation for all of the military and their families for the sacrifices they make. God bless the USA! Ü

Waiting for the parade to start
(I have been watching my sister's kids for the last week - that's why haven't been able to post)

This is everyone lining up - they stood there for about forty five minutes. People were fainting here there and being carried off on stretchers. I kept an eye on who I thought was Cory - come to find out Cory said he was somewhere completely different. I was so bummed because I was sure I found him. Ha ha

SICK AGAIN! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

So I have noticed I have gotten sick every other month since May. We came home from camping this weekend and all 3 of us got a cold! I am SICK of being SICK! I know this is gross but, these are the kleenexes I used last night - therefore, not getting a lot of sleep! Our house smells like a vicks sauna. What I don't understand is how my 2 year old is sick but still has energy to run around everywhere. Why can't I have that energy! Thank goodness we are going to the doctor today. I am ready to be better!

POST-MANIA!

I have been so busy the last couple of weeks. So as you can see I have had a lot of catching up to do. I think I posted 9 posts in ONE day! That is definitely a record for me.

LABOR DAY CAMPING TRIP

I forgot my camera, AGAIN! So these two pictures were taken with the phone. Mason absolutely loves camping!! Nothing is more fun to him then staying outside all day, riding the 4-wheeler, and getting all dirty! He asks every day if we can go camping. He is JUST like his dad.

LINDSAY'S WEDDING

My niece got married last week. I can't believe that I could be a GREAT-Aunt soon!! It was a beautiful wedding - these are some pictures.

FAMILY WEEK

With Lindsay's wedding coming up - we have had a lot of family around. My mom and dad came home for a week off of their mission to be a part of it all. It has been fun, crazy, and busy!

A WEEK WITH STEPH

Steph came and stayed at my house last week because my niece was getting married. It was fun to have her and her little boy, Kyson, spend time with us. Kyson and Mason became little buddies. It was fun to catch up and be moms together. Love ya Steph!

AWWW! HOW CUTE!

Cory surprised me the other day with flowers. I haven't gotten some for a LONG time. He even picked out the flowers for them to arrange! They smell soooo good. I love how real flowers look on the table. Thanks Babe! (I'm thinking the fence had something to do with it Ü)

CORY'S SURPRISE

Cory went camping last weekend and while he was gone I had my dad help build our fence as a surprise for him when he came home. He was so surprised. He has been wanting to do the fence forever but he is always so busy. It was fun to see his face.

SIBLING NIGHT CONTINUED...

(From left to right) Kim, Vikki, Trent, Gina, Jason, Steph, Darren

So, I finally got the missing pictures from siblings night. We had a lot of fun. We really wish Cindy had been there. We had fun playing frisbee football. We also had a lot of fun playing on the swing set.

SERIOUSLY?!?, TOOTH #3

Yep, he knocked out a 3rd tooth. He was jumping on the bed and knocked it on daddy's shoulder. It didn't really have any support from any other teeth because, well, they are gone too. I'm a little nervous to take him in to his 2 year appointment on Thurs. - what is the Dr. going to think??

THANKSGIVING POINT

I've got a lot of catching up to do on this blog so I'll start with our trip to Thanksgiving Point. We met some good friends Jeff & Nichole and saw the animals. Mason loves to ride the pony.
