7 months with 7 pictures

Okay, okay, tell me about it!  I've soooo neglected my blog lately :/ 

...and by lately I do realize that I haven't so much as logged onto it for SEVEN months! 

To do a proper catch up would indeed involve lots of time and effort {the first of which I don't have nor, consequently, the second as it's all being put into organizing the first} so I've come up with a compromise & a promise.  The compromise is that I'm going to post 7 pictures to summarize the past 7 months and the promise is that from here on out, I'm going to attempt to do better! 

That being said, here goes nothing...

Tony & I celebrated 7 years of marriage.  I love this man more and more with each passing year.  God is so full of goodness & grace!

One more important thing to mention:

January 2012 marked the 15 year anniversary of the beginning of "Tony & Hannah". 

In January 2007 Tony asked me to be his girlfriend. As of January 2012, I have been in a relationship with Tony longer than I haven't...or as I've mistakenly said a time or two, I've been with Tony longer than I've been alive {HA!}  Which clearly makes no sense at all, but hopefully you get my drift.  I was 15 when we started dating, I am 30 years old, and we've now been together for longer than 15 years.  Don't know why God decided to bring me the love of my life at such an early age, but I'm sure glad He did.  I am beyond blessed to have such an amazing helpmate & partner.

Evan's 1st Birthday Party

{Don't worry people, I changed the details to ward off any blog stalker weirdos}

We celebrated Evan's 1st birthday with family & some of our sweet neighbor friends.  We had a "Lil Cupcake" theme with...well, cupcakes of course!  We are so grateful to all who came over to love on Evan and help us celebrate our special little guy!

We have SUCH an AMAZING group of neighbors!  I wished we'd gotten a big group picture of everyone, but I didn't think to organize while everyone was there & plus we were missing a few as well.  Please know we love ya'll ALL {well, that was a big repetitive, but ya know what I mean...} and we are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Birthday Boy!!!

Goodness gracious, my baby is ONE! 
We had so much fun celebrating our birthday boy with our family and friends.  We started out Evan's birthday morning celebrating with just our family of 4.  Evan opened up his very first present, we had french toast "birthday cake", and had some sweet time together.  That evening we met the grandparents for what's quickly become a tradition in our family--a birthday ice cream outing :)  We had such a great day celebrating our birthday boy!

Evan's 11 months old!

As I type that title I stare for a minute in disbelief.  I can hardly believe that in a few short weeks, my little guy is going to be 1 year old.  We just brought this precious face home from the hospital! 

And then yesterday he took his first step. 

 AAAH!!! My sweet little Evan is growing up so fast! 

 He's eating everything in sight {we affectionately refer to him as a bottomless pit!}, standing for a few seconds at a time, as I already mentioned took 1 step yesterday {though I still feel it will be a bit before he's officially "walking"},  has 4 teeth & 1 more on it's way in.

And just becasue he's so stinkin' handsome, he's a pic of his big brother too :) 

Nevermind the super short haircut mama ended up having to give him because Mr. Moves just wouldn't stay still :P

Oh well, it's just hair...it will grow!

Beach Trip

We spent a glorious week at the beach in mid-June with Tony's parents. It was Evan's first trip to the beach & he had a great time playing in the waves & exploring the sand!

Owen had a blast too, showing little brother the ropes--running on the shore, building sandcastles in the sand, and playing in the waves. 

 One night we headed over to Pier Park to check out the amusement park there.  The boys had a blast jumping in the jump house, eating ice cream, & riding the airplane & hot air balloon carnival rides.

The highlight of Owen's night was doing the Bungy Trampoline--where he was harnessed in & got to jump sky high with the help of some bungee cords.  We were a little worried that he'd be scared, but Owen insisted he wouldn't be, and he was right...he LOVED it!

I also got some precious shots of the boys on the beach.  There's just something about little boys in seersucker, LOVE IT!

 As for pics of the 4 of us....well, I forgot to reset the focus settings on my camera so, unfortunately, we did not get a bunch of great shots as I had hoped.  This one just makes me laugh out loud though!  It's so great of everyone save the choke hold Owen has on Evan...oh, brotherly love! 

We had a SUCH a great week at the beach!  Owen's already asking when we're going back :)
