Charles winning lots of races

River of Aces ran third her last out--after breaking last by 5-6 lengths--3/4 length behind the winner--she reared at the start-that's why they make you run these races instead of just predicting the outcome. She proved that she belonged at this level.--($32,000)-

All the Rage ran third today -left at the gate--but she won her previous race.

Apple Of Sam's Eye won today going a mile.

Not bad for 2 races-a first and a third

I 'm baaack

Well, it's the fourth of July-2013-I thot that it was time to get back to the blog.- Lots has happened since last year-my last post.-We have won lots of races-had some great times -and we are now going to cut hay on the farm--last year we got 1100 80 lb. bales. It was great hay last year.

We lost our friend-Baby Doll this winter--great loss to lots of people . We got a wonderful female pit from a great shelter in southern Oregon. She is now 6 months old--still a bouncing pup-but is learning some manners- She is a beautiful "blue" with a lot of white-with a "white mountain" on her back.. Her name is "Bandida" -she stole our hearts. Will post photos later.

Ranch is great this time of year--we have two new eaglets in the nest--see lots of deer and people swimming in the river--grass green-high and tasty with the new foals and moms playing -running-having fun..
Ann's flowers are bloomimg like crazy-will post photos later.-They are magnificent with explosions of color.

We can still see some snow on Mt. Pilchuck and the river is still pretty cool and clear.See lots of kayaks of all colors.

Sam's Ace has his first two winners on one weekend

"Sam" had a great weekend --Two winners-both impresive.
River of Aces and Kissem.

BOTH HOMEBREDS OWNED BY US. It is nice to get a couple winners on one weekend -but a couple winners that are yours is special.
River won for $20,000 mdn claim at 3;2 odds--won like a 3;2 shot.
She was riden by Eliska -and won by 3.

Then Kissem -named by Mike Pattison-won by 2 for $7,500 claim -but she was exempt from claiming-so we took advantsage of that condition. She was well riden by Troy Stillwell who was returning to riding after an injury last year.

All IN ALL, A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL.
