Receives, inventories, sorts, cleans, photographs, packages, and ships to family members (next of kin) all personal effects belonging to military service members and others, including defense contractors, who are killed or severely injured worldwide, especially incident to military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Performs other relevant administrative and logistics duties as assigned which may include data entry (Defense Casualty Information Processing System) and reports and correspondence management functions, as necessary.
Required Skills:
Detail oriented. Ability to remain calm during highly emotional or crisis situations. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Mature self-starter with compassion for members of the US Armed Forces and the families of those killed or severely injured. Must be stable, dependable, and available for shift-work, overtime, and occasional weekend/holiday work consistent with the mission/operational environment. Must be able obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance (Serco, Inc. will process the required application). Current or prior SECRET or higher security clearance is a strong plus.

In a just world a bolt of lightning from the heavens would strike between their split fingers for mocking something so noble as peace. A concept that family is incapable of comprehending.

It is difficult to watch and learn what our own government, via outsourced shadow operations are capable of. For the idiots and self-deluded amongst our own citizenry, (AKA Faux News fans) it is so much easier to assume that we as Americans are always right and just and that others who hate our nation are "evil" and have no justification for hating us. It's hard to hold such a position when you take the time to learn even just a little of the truth of the horrors we have wreaked throughout the world for our own greedy interests.
I don't ask anyone to do anything other than open your minds. Consider possibilities other than the drivel you're fed on your nightly news and the interest-laced punditry of cable news. Dig deeper! It's out there for anyone who wants to know.
