Did you know blogger in draft now offers tabs/pages? Yes they do and apparently they have since Jan...I have been a blogger in draft( yes there are 2 different blogger versions-I prefer blogger in draft over the regular version) user since I met deb at postcards from the edge and she helped me make my comments appear under my post instead in a popup window. I ♥ Blogger in draft, now I need my personal blog stylist to help me with tabs because well she rocks and ummm she did my blog and I don't know html which I need to know in this case because I had a blog stylist design the layout...ooooooo amybo where are you?

Blogger Pages lets you to publish static information on stand-alone pages linked from your blog. For example, you can use Pages to create an About This Blog page that discusses the evolution of your blog, or a Contact Me page that provides directions, a phone number, and a map to your location.
You create a page similar to how you write a blog post. From Blogger in Draft click the Posting | Edit Pages tab, then click New Page. (Note: you can create up to 10 pages.)
Once your page is published, you can link to it from the new Pages widget. The Pages widget lets you add links to your pages as tabs at the top of your blog, or as links in your blog's sidebar.
In the Pages widget, you can decide which pages will have links, and in what order they will appear. You can also choose whether or not you want links automatically created for pages when you create them by checking or unchecking the box to the left of Add new Pages by default.
Finally, for those of you that have custom templates, your custom template may not automatically support Pages as horizontal "tabs".

A quick question...
Do you know I like to respond to your comments? Do you know that I do? Do you know a lot of them go to 'noreply-comment@blogger.com'? God Bless him or her-because they have gotten some really witty replies-so witty it could have landed me a job on the Ellen Show-well OKay maybe not that witty but you get the point...noreply is getting my response to YOU,YOU,you and YOU!

If you have left me a comment I do one of two things

1) visit your blog which I LOVE but I feel stoopid responding to a comment you made on my blog in your comment section

OR

2) email you a reply directly from a comment you left on my blog-hence making me not look or feel stoopid

Do you know how I can email you a reply from your comment left on this here blog?

Go to your dashboard, click on edit profile and you should see this:

Under Privacy you get these...

Share my profile
Show my real name
Show my email address

There is a lil box next to each of those lines-if you put a check in the box next to 'Show my email address' then scroll to Identity and enter an email addy then click 'Save profile' you will be all set

This will allow me to reply directly to you when you leave a comment. It doesn't show your email addy in the comment section but when your comment is emailed to me I can in turn hit reply and say something like 'Hey Thanks I think you Rock too!'

Many of you already do this and I Thank You, some of you may have no idea this was possible, some of you knew about this and choose not to for reasons that are important to you-I respect that.

Since I have checked the box to show my email, when I visit your blog and leave a comment, if you have comments emailed to you, you too can just hit reply and send me a response from a comment I left on your blog.

My confession for today: This is not life altering but it sure makes responding to you easier-without me being a comment whore on my own blog or looking stoopid on yours...

I merely asked her how she got her comments to be a certain way that she could email a response back VS being a comment whore on my own blog....what I discovered was "A whole New World"...sing it with me...

Okay SO highschool I know, BUT what she showed me will change your life ladies! I swear it! Just like your rabbit did!

Maybe you or some of you all already know this lil bit of info and if you do then I am sorry you had to witness that so 9th grade display of behavior above...If you don't know what I am talking about then follow me...

First click on Dashboard then you are going to scroll down that page and under the post "blogger babies" look for "blogger in draft" CLICK that, go ahead, it will change your life, I promise-Then Look in upper right hand corner for a blue tab "Make Blogger In Draft My Default Dashboard" click it...You will now have a whole new very RICH text editor for making posts....

Remember that code we learned for strike throughs? Well it's a thing of the past! Strike through now has it's very own button on the new dashboard. The one thing I don't see that I always sometimes rely on is spell-checker. On a sidenote Deb tells me in order to use this handy dandy feature for making new posts, always make a new post from your dashboard OR you will see the old one.

Once you have that all set up go into your settings then comments and look for "Comment Form placement" you will have a 3rd option you didn't have before "Embeded below post" click that(if you want). It's a nice feature.

Okay I so hope I told you all the correct way(Once I did this change there was NO going back for me to give GOOD step BY step instructions-it just wasn't there) if I didn't maybe Deb will pop in and correct me where I strayed you in the wrong direction...

I learned how to add a personalized signature to my blogs-ALL BY MYSELF...and it ONLY took me 7 hrs to figure it out-yep ima quick learner!

In my defense there were over 100 fonts to choose from and sense I am decisionally challenged-that part took the better part of the above mentioned 7 hrs. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it, I promise!

Wanna learn to?

Visit My Live Signature you do not have to register just click on "click here to start"

The next page will ask what you wish to do, click "create signature"

Then you will be asked what method you wish to use, click on "useing the signature wizard"

Now just follow steps 1-5

Once at the "finished" page where you see your name look for the hyper-link that says "Want to use this signature?" and click it

A new page will pop up for generating code-click on "Generate HTML Code"

Next click on "Generate code for my handwritten signature"

There is your code... that you will now do what with, you ask?

Copy it then open a new tab to your blogger dashboard, go to "Settings" then "Formatting"

Scroll down the page till you see "Post Template" and an empty box

Paste the code in the box and then click "Save Settings"

PRESTO you are done! The next time you start a post your very own signature will be there ready to greet ya

when you are in post mode and ready to strike through a word add this lil code to the word oh lets say SUCK IT
suck it goes in the middle of the code
where greater than and less than meet face to face > symbols with the word del)

so in essence it would look like this SUCK IT
