4/30/11 - Good Night

We had a fun day with Daddy today!  We spent our whole day with him and loved every moment of it.  Momma's been a little late with her posts lately so we thought we'd catch you up a little.

I am saying more and more words every day and am trying to help Momma with Marion all the time - you know, by sharing, hugging and kissing, snuggling, wrestling, trading snugglies - I promise she's usually in the mood for this one :~).  My newest unprompted sentence was last night - No, I don't like that (it was asparagus).  And I'm always asking for Grampa (umm-pa) and Gramma (umm-ma)

I can say a lot of words, my favorites are (in baby speak), Momma, Daddy, 'no, don't do that' (sounds like no dun doe dad - with an adorable head shake), Minnie (mee-mee) and Mickey (mee-dee).

Sometimes its just nice to be silly.

4/28/11 - Missed Again...

Momma has been having the hardest time getting the camera out this week.  We forgave her already because it means she spent all her spare seconds giving us attention and snuggling us...  don't worry, we didn't do too much new stuff today, so we'll catch up again tomorrow.

4/27/11 - GRAMPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gramma and Grampa came over tonight for dinner.  When I saw him hiding around the corner, I ran to him and didn't let go for a couple minutes without letting go.  I sat next to him at dinner and played with him all night!

Grampa played hide-and-go-seek with us and we loved it!

4/26/11 - Pretty as a Picture & Handsome to Boot!

After our friends left this afternoon, Momma did our hair, and we agreed to a quick smile for the camera.

 

4/25/11 - Missed Day

We spent a lot of time playing with Momma today and kept her so busy she didn't get the camera out... tomorrow for sure!!!

4/24/11 - Happy Easter!

4/23/11 - The Bunny & The Hunt!!!

We got to the park early to see the Easter Bunny before our egg hunt, we loved the bunny as he danced across the field, but we weren't too sure when we sat on his lap.

Momma's friend from always (grew up together) was there with his son.  Joey and I became fast friends, especially when I saw his Thomas cup.

There were too many people, and it was just mayhem at the park.  Us little kids didn't get much chance to hunt for eggs, maybe when we're older it will be worth another try.  So when we got home we had a surprise egg hunt in the backyard.

This time I was for sure going to get some eggs...

Marion and I compared buckets, and both were very happy with our egg hunting abilities.

I helped her carry hers over to our counting spot.

A great end to a rough start :).

4/22/11 - Goodnight

Today was a busy at home day, Momma got a lot of cleaning done, and playing with us.  Since it was Friday, our friend came for a visit.  We sure like him.  Then we snuggled and Daddy tucked us in.

4/21/11 - Play All Day

We played outside before lunch, it was a beautiful day!

Then Goy helped me walk around the house using the chair as a walker.  It was lots of fun!

Then Daddy ran outside with us while he was BBQing.

And we passed out at bedtime!

Trying to be a big kid is really exhausting...

And I think I've got more teeth coming in and am going through a growth spurt...

4/18/11 - I'm A Big Kid Now...

I am working on being a big boy!  Stay tuned for the final update :).  Momma and Daddy have been very excited, I'm still not quite sure what it's all about, but hang in there with me, I'll get it.

I also got to be a big kid by hanging out with Momma at the counter while everyone was napping.

And I was a go-between-girl tonight, couldn't make up my mind who I wanted to snuggle with, so I went to everyone!!!

4/17/11 - Spring has Sprung

While Marion napped, I got to learn how to hit the ball with my new bat set from G.G. Pa & G.G. Ma.  I love play baseball.  It's so much fun!

And while Goy napped, I showed off my clapping and standing skills.

4/16/11 - Time for the GREAT Outdoors

Goy drew circles this morning without being shown how.  He was so excited!

I got to practice my walking with Daddy, I am getting much better and only hold on for balance now, not to hold my weight up, it's so exciting,

I got to play play play play play...

And we chased balls,

And just acted silly.

4/14/11 - Home Sweet Home - And A New Trick

After 11 hours out of the house yesterday, a good 5 of which were spent in the car, we spent the day playing outside and snuggling up with Momma.

I was so excited to see Daddy tonight that I stood for a few seconds on my own before diving into his arms.  Everyone clapped and cheered for me!

4/13/11 - On The Road Again

We headed off to the doctors today, I am 23lbs 10oz, and 31.25 inches.  Goy is 32lbs.

Then we went to Costco for lunch and passed out in the car on the way to see G.G.Pa,
