Bringing in the new year is pretty calm around here. We try to be fun but... :) Dave made awesome dinner as usual. Crab, lobster the works. 
Tim at Daves work gave the boys this blow up thing. Unfortunately we live in a house built 40 years ago with low ceilings. We cleared out the couches and did our best to let the boys play. They had fun.
This winter has been lots of boogers. For whatever reason, Eli and Canon have both had booger noses for weeks. GROSS sorry.

About 7:00 am we gathered in our room to read Luke 2 before heading out to see what Santa has brought. 
We had a perfect Christmas. Our boys are very spoiled. I still need to learn to hold back. I got my kitchen remodel almost done. Life is good.
We were VERY lucky to have my parents and brother here for Christmas this year. Making the trip over the mountains has become a large task with the kids and tricky with the bad weather. We LOVED having grammy and grandpa here. The boys got their traditional pjs. We were all excited for Christmas.
I love the sparkle in the eyes of the kids as they talk with Santa. Caleb was at a birthday party so we missed him. Keaton is very afraid of Santa so he stood clear and had me relay a message.

We woke up the morning of Thanksgiving to a nice covering of snow. When it snows here, no one leaves the house. Lucky for us we have a 4 wheel drive Jeep that would allow up to get around up and down these hills. We enjoyed Thanksgiving with the Whitmores. This is 2 years in a row so I am thinking tradition. aka- Amy you can never move. :)

My brother Jake finally earned his Eagle Scout award. We thought this was important so we drove to Boise for the Court of Honor. His Eagle project was taking goods to Ethiopia. He collected 550 pounds of shoes, clothes, blankets, toys, medicine- etc. They were delivered to the orphanage there where Eli and Canon had been. It was a very special project for us. I made him a video slide show for the Court of Honor that was awesome!! :) This picture above is me, my dad, my grandpa Max Smart and Jake.

All the boys currently in scouts with Jake, their grandpa and great grandpa. Grandpa Max earned his Eagle scout in 1926 and my dad in 1966. Both at age 14.
