Knuckle Biter
I would assume that ALL people who drive in Utah know that a white road means a slick road right? NOT!!
While waiting at the light on North bound 2700 W. and Bangerter I witnessed pure stupidity.
A HUGE white passenger van (you know the type) came barreling east on Bangerter and into the turn lane to make a right onto 2700 W. Right into the white road I am talking about. I swear she was going 50. And of course a van FULL of kids going 50 hits the said white road and goes into an uncontrolled turning slide...right towards me and the other cars waiting at the light.
I promise you...it was like watching it all in slow motion. When suddenly just before impact her wheels gain enough traction to complete the turn. Really, I mean with in 2 feet of hitting the Jeep behind me.
Seriously!! White road....SLOW DOWN! That is my rant. It never fails to amaze me how reckless people are. It's hurry hurry with no thought to road conditions. Just like those people who have 4-wheel drive and you see them hauling butt down the freeway because they think 4-wheel drive is going to keep them from sliding with the rest of us.
All I can say is what my husband says to me almost every day....JOB SECURITY!
So in my rant I can thank all those people stupid enough to drive like maniacs. Thank you for keeping my husband gainfully employed and working sooo much overtime I get to go on awesome vacations.
That's All!!

Donut Delivery!?
Yep! I came home from visiting a friend and there they were,
hanging on my front door.
Four, huge, chocolate, puffy donuts!!
My favorite, by the way.
They go best with Diet Coke.
Which I did happen to have in my house at the time.
I did share! I mean really, 4?
I am trying to stay on my diet....
not working so good every day.
Most days, but not every day.
Now if you received a treat on your door who would you assume it was from?
Me, I assumed my visiting teachers.
They visited me tonight, NOPE not them.
I find myself at a loss....
who could deliver me donuts in the middle of the day?
So to the wonderful soul who obviously knows what I like

INSANE!!
I am losing my mind!
I recently became the proud owner of a digital camcorder.
Exciting right?
Until I tried to share a video.
Nothing will upload it except You Tube.
I don't know if it's because of the High Definition or what.
So I INSANELY got a You Tube account,
thinking I could upload then link my blog and facebook to it.
But I get this HUGE link.
I know it's possible to just have the word "here"
I've seen it done on others blogs.
I obviously am computer illiterate.
Now it only plays 3/4 of the screen.
Either way.
Go take a look at my first You Tube upload.
I'm pretty proud of the her.
Hopefully I can upload some of the other numbers.
It is from the Riverton High Musical Dance Theatre's class
Broadway Review....
p.s. you will want to scroll down and pause my music player at the bottome of my blog before you play it.

Clarification?
For example:
Chocolate
Cough/Cold medicine
Feminine Hygiene
Bread
Diet Coke (or drink of your preference)
etc.
You get where I'm going with this right?
Something that you feel necessary at that exact moment.
Don't you always find yourself needing an item on Sunday?
The day you shouldn't just run down to the store and buy it.
This has happened to me on more than one occasion.
I will not tell a lie.
I have broken the Sabbath for certain items.
- Cough/Cold medicine for a very sick child.
- Feminine Hygiene.....I mean really it was an unexpected need, you can't go without.
- Bread. It's true! One Sunday morning the Deacon's quorum could NOT find bread at any home. So I lied and said I had some, and off to Albertsons before church. What to do? Not have bread at the Sacrament.
- Diet Coke for medicinal purposes for a BAD migraine.
Now, I have not broken the Sabbath for chocolate. I have, however, borrowed chocolate chips from a neighbor so we could make cookies to appease our chocolate fix.
I planned ahead and now have an agreement with a few friends in the neighborhood who keep Diet Coke on hand to always provide me in an emergency.
Now for the clarification part. Today, I wanted not needed a Diet Coke. (I am really trying to cut back so I don't keep it in stock) So, having heard what a brother (who will not be named) that lives in my ward does to get his Mountain Dew fix. I did what he does.
He goes to the vending machine that sits outside Petersons Marketplace. Is this technically breaking the Sabbath? You only put coins in a machine. It does not require anyone to work to serve you. It is not a place of business. It is a vending machine sitting outside. :) I popped by on the way home from church. Ridiculous I know.
But now the question....Is this technically still breaking the Sabbath? Just wonderin' your thoughts. Some random thing to think about.

"Worry" or "Lack of Faith"
It's true.
But this blog is really a journal of sorts for me.
SO I blog about what I'm thinking etc.
Yesterday we had a small issue with Benjamin.
He woke up with sharp lower abdominal pain. (scale 7)
Now....It is flu season.
So, I think, could be the flu?
With 500 mg Tylenol the pain goes away in about 2hours.
Off to school he goes.
He feels fine all day. Has a healthy appetite.
I think...no worries. Just a glitch.
Then off to CAP for the first time in 6 months.
He is so excited.
Lincoln goes with him as he is a senior member. (support)
When he comes home he is nausea's. (scale 5 1/2)
Everything is based on a scale at our house.
He goes to sleep with nausea.
Wakes up fine.
I spend all night worrying.
I plead with my Heavenly Father.
Please don't let this be the start of a problem.
Please let it be a small thing.
He is feeling soooo good.
Gaining weight.
Eating.
Happy!!
After so long.
I question myself.
Do I lack faith?
Because when he has a slight problem I start to question?
He has been promised eventual recovery multiple times.
I start to question the promises.
Then I remind myself of the blessings and promises.
Be patient! He is doing so good.
Don't borrow trouble.
IT IS SO HARD NOT TO!!
How do I determine what is worry
and
what is lack of faith?
Worry is normal.
But my dumb mind starts to run away from me.
Why does life have to be so difficult,
and so wonderful at the same time?

Renewal
my dear husband took me on a long overdue date to Thanksgiving Pointes Gardens.
Ever been? It is beautiful. Rushing waterfalls, flowers and fauna of all kinds, Garden art, wide open running room for the kids, meandering paths and places to just sit and ponder.
They have themed gardens as well. One "The secret Garden" a walled in small garden. It is so peaceful and still. We just sat and sat. I felt my spirit lift and renewal for my soul. I left feeling my burdens lifted. I think My Heavenly Father guided my sweet husband to know just what I needed. We have often contemplated a season pass, so we can go as often as we like.
You can go too! Feel this renewal for yourself. Go here http://cjaneprovo.blogspot.com/ and enter a giveaway for a season pass. But I really want to win. So good luck.

New Year...New Look
I like, no Love to read.
So I'm giving this one a try.
We'll see. I might find something I like better.
2010 is starting out Fantastic!!
Benjamin is gaining weight, eating everything,
and learning to be a High School Student finally!
Bailee is in the middle of College Applications
and "All that Jazz".
Brooklyn is learning she likes to "chat" with friends..
on the phone and online.
My baby is growing up too fast.
Lincoln is finishing the HUGE honey do project he has been working on.
Enlarging my family room downstairs and getting the bathroom started.
Yeah!
I am finally going to see what if feels like to be "stay at home mom" again.
I really didn't get the feeling before because I was still doing Home and Hospital with Ben. However, I feel some serious digital scrap booking coming on.
Plus some workout time....Finally.
Maybe even a little reading.
Looking forward to a great year.
