Help Wanted:

BAH! Any suggestions from pro-bloggers out there on how to make my blog look and sound oh so fabulous, would be muchly appreciated... Whatever tips you have from how to customize this page to make it look like my own. I'd love to know how to add the music thingy, slide show thingy, etc. It's so much easier to find out from friends how to do something than to have to "read the manual." Right?!?

Oh dear...

Ok, I'm so behind the times now it's embarrassing... People have been blogging for years, but I'm finally catching on to it! I used to think, "oh my gosh, she's sharing her journal online- she must be crazy." (Some of you might know who I'm talking about!) But lately I have LOVED reading some friends blogs, keeping up on their lives through pics and short funny stories, getting some good laughs, falling in love with new music posted on friends blogs, getting scrapbooking/photography ideas, getting new recipes etc. So yes, my friends, blogging is not so bad of a thing I guess afterall. Here is a few things I have learned about blogging...

1. It is OK to post all your thoughts and feelings online for EVERYONE to read.
2. It is OK to post the great things about your fam... and the not so great things.
3. It is OK to vent your feelings in your online blog- it is very theraputic.
4. Blogging is a great way to keep in touch with "old" friends and current friends/family
5. WARNING: Reading blogs can become addicting
6. Note to Self: It may be difficult to keep blogger readers if you don't have an attractive blog-spot or sense of humor. ;-)
7. Umm... It's getting late (10:30- I should have been in bed an hour ago) and that's all I can think of right now.

So anyways, I hope this will be a fun way for you guys to see what we're up to these days, get new recipes, see recent fam pics, and whatever else. Really I have no idea why I am doing this- timewise I can't even keep up with the laundry around here- but it just looks fun and I'd like to do better at keeping in touch with everyone!
