Puyallup Fair, New Bench, soccer, baby update

We headed to the Puyallup fair.  We bought a bunch of ride tickets after we asked if Henry could go on the rides.  The vendor said he could but once we got to the rides we realized he was too short.
It was a freaky hot day, especially for the North West, it was in the 90's.  Because we thought the boys were going to be going on rides we didn't bring a stroller.  Henry was so upset about not being able to go on rides I had to take him other places while Evanicio and Mikey rode the rides.  He got tired fast so I was holding him trying to find a shady place to sit and wait.  I never found it, but I did find a fair scone.

Henry fell asleep and we sweat like crazy until Evanicio and Mikey got done with the rides.
When my dad was here he made me a bench that I have been eyeing for awhile I was in charge of finishing it and we LOVE it!  It is perfect on my porch.
I finally got around to cleaning and organizing my office and I'm in love it now!
Little Man started his first fall soccer.  He adores soccer and lives for the practices and the games.
Little Lady is 30 weeks!  10 weeks or less and I could be holding this sweet baby girl!
My Boys have my whole heart!  I love their happy faces!

As much as I hate spiders this guy, who is now dead, is a sign that fall is on it's way for the Pacific Northwest!

Little Man starts Kindergarten

Little Man started Kindergarten.  He was so excited to get to ride the bus and go to school.

It also helped that he has some friends/neighbors that ride the bus with him.
He goes to school for a half day, leaving at noon and returning just before 4, except on fridays he goes a full day every other Friday.  I was a little sad to see my "baby" headed to kindergarten, but the fact that he was so happy and excited and had friends going with him eased my sadness a ton!

So excited to get on the bus with his buddies!

August 2014 part 2

We celebrated Henry's Birthday a little early since my parents were visiting.  He LOVED the cake and was disappointed when we blew out the candles.  He wanted them to be lit again.
He was also spoiled with gifts.
We have had an amazing Garbage man.  He not only honks and waves but has the garbage truck wave to the kids.  Our silly city decided to go with a new vendor for garbage so this was the last day Erik came for garbage.  It was a really sad day. (Henry was a little nervous being so close to the truck.)
Nothing says summer like homemade popsicles in the backyard.
Little Man had his kindergarten assessment.  He was nervous but did great.  When we got home I told him he could choose whatever dinner he wanted for being so brave.  He want a pancake the size of his head, so he got one.
 My Two Little Rockers!
Henry turned TWO on August 30.  We kept things low key and we did whatever Henry wanted to do.  Which was play.  He is a super laid back easy to please kiddo.
We had our neighbors come over for cake and ice cream.  It was funny because this time he was terrified of the cake and wanted nothing to do with it.
He did want to be cuddled and hugged a lot that day.  We gladly fulfilled that wish. We love our Henry!
28 weeks but I feel like I should be 35, at least.

August 2014 part 1

August was a month full of fun.  We took the boys to see the Airplane Fire and Rescue Movie.  It was Henry's first time in a  theater and he did pretty well until the popcorn ran out.  Hahaha.
27 Weeks and I'm obviously sticking out.
Henry has his own fashion sense.  I let my kids dress however they want most of the time.  Even if it means they wear their bow tie with their Tshirt.   Poor Henry has bad luck with falling and smacking his forehead.  He seems to constantly have a bruise on his forehead.
Pantless, PJs, sunglasses upside down binky.   It is how we roll when mom feels sick (pregnant) and it is hot!
We dog sat for a little over 2 weeks.  And as I mentioned we won't be getting one of our own anytime soon it was fun to see my kids enjoy having a dog around.
My Parents came for a visit.  We took them to ensign ranch and went on the huge water slide there.  I went a few times but everyone was nervous I would crash so I was banned.  I should have taken pictures of others going but I was having too much fun watching. After we were done we drove further into the mountains to Salmon La Sac river where there is a fun rock beach.  We enjoy hanging out there.  My dad borrowed a guys tub and rode down the river.  This river was FREEZING!  And it looks mellow in the picture but there were crazy rapids further down that he went thru.  My dad is so awesome!

We have some crazy big slugs here.  They don't bother me too much I just think they are gross.  These two were on our fence.
Little Man had his first big crash since learning to ride without training wheels.  He was going fast turned quick and went face first into his handle bars.  His mouth and nose were bleeding like crazy.  I got a little scared and picked him up and ran down the road to our house to get ice.  This was not an easy thing to do being so pregnant and he isn't exactly tiny any more.  There was so much blood it looked like he had shoved his teeth up into his gums and I was so nervous about that.  Once we got the blood wiped away I realized it was just his upper lip bleeding his nose and lip took the brunt force.  So even thought it wasn't fun I was grateful it wasn't a doctor visit crash.
We love to go to Music in the park in the summer. I love that it is a casual atmosphere that allows me to expose my kids to various types of music but allows me to come and go as I need and my kids can run around and dance.
 SISTER SUN SELFIE!
Our local farmers Market had alpacas, Mr H wasn't so sure about them.
They also sell Kettle corn.  I'm a popcorn addict and have kind of made my kids likewise so f course we got a bag!
My sister, her kids, mikey and my parents went to the zoo.  (I was having a super sick day so Henry and I stayed home and napped.)
After the zoo they visited the Troll under the Fremont Bridge.  I was a little jealous as I have never visited the troll.

July 2014

Nothing makes this Mom happier than when my kids play HAPPILY together.
On July 2 we were surprised to find out that our baby was going to be a girl!  She did not want to let us know easily, the ultra sound took over 30 minutes just to figure out her gender.  The tech was literally hitting me and making me twist and touch my toes etc. This baby loves to be curled up tight.  Evanicio was ecstatic as he has wanted a girl all along.  I was nervous but happy.  Our joy was short lived when my doctor told us that our baby may have "Echogenic Bowl" which indicates a chromosome problem.  My doctor didn't seem concerned but encouraged us to have a 2nd ultrasound and follow up with a geneticis.  Of course we did the worst thing possible and googled Echogenic bowl.  Our follow up appointment wasn't for TWO WEEKS.  Those two weeks were the longest two weeks of our life.  Although initialy I was sad anything was wrong as I read more into what the outcome may be I realized that my baby may not even live which seemed way worse than any physical or mental disability to me.   The thought of already losing her hurt horribly and I prayed that wasn't what was in store for us.
We prayed and talked a lot.  I just hoped that she would live, I knew that if she lived I could face the other challenges.  When the day finally came I think the ultra sound tech knew we were stressed.  She was super nice and kind, but as you know if you have had an ultra sound, she couldn't  tell us anything.  She kept saying "this looks great" and "Everything is going to be fine".  But what did that even mean?  I tried to be calm as I had a feeling of peace knowing that no matter what was wrong this baby was obviously supposed to be in our family and we would do our best. In the end they found nothing at the second ultra sound.  Not one indication of anything wrong.  We still met with the genetics counselour to talk about risks but really knowing she was ok was all that mattered.
Evanicio left the afternoon of July 4th, so the boy and I went with some friends to the park to see the Big Fire Works!
Henry had cried all day every time a fire work went off so I was worried he would be a mess but this is a picture of him while they were going off.  He was so mesmerized.  It is so fun watching my littles discover the world.

We also went Raspberry picking again. These raspberries were HUGE!  (My hand is not dainty.)  They were yummy and I made lots of raspberry jam.
Mikey attended a week long soccer camp that my friend put on.  He LOVED IT!  Henry and I stayed to watch my friends daughter one of the days.  I was walking around the park with the two of them and Henry reaches out and smoothly grabs the girls hand.  He then keeps walking just like nothing happened.  He is going to be a charmer!

I think Mr. H was feeling pretty good about his smooth moves.

Henry is growing up but he is still my baby.  He LOVES to be held and loved.
My Boys LOVE to pile all of our pillows in a tall stack and then leap onto them.  I think it is so cute.
Sorry but they are just too cute.  Look at that little Henry!
Henry is a lover.  He LOVES to give "back hugs".  If you are sitting or even standing he will come up behind you and just hug.  Mikey doesn't always think it is as fun when Henry does it when Mikey is trying to play.  But I think it is darling!
Mikey decided he was done with training wheels!  It took him less than 5 minutes to got from training wheel to trying to do jumps and standing up like this.  I think he could have done this way sooner but he is not the type of personality you want to push.
I think this is  about 21 weeks.
Little Man thought it would be cool to give himself a haircut.  He agreed that it wasn't the best choice.
23 weeks and I feel like I'm going to pop.
We went to one of our favorite Lake Washington beaches.  Henry was pretty content to jump in the mud.
Mikey went out in the water and was brave enough to put his head in so he could reach that rock. He was shivering but super proud of himself.
Henry slowly warmed up to the water and at one point was playing at the waters edge with his feet in the water but his back to the lake.  A boat went by which caused very small waves to come in.  As it hit the back of Henry's legs his eyes got huge and he started running out of the water and across the beach towards me screaming hysterically "JUICE! JUICE!"  It was sad and hilarious all at the same time.  He calls any liquid Juice and I think he thought that "juice" was going to eat him.
We love playing with friends at the beach!
Mikey swam in a neighbors pool and was excited to get to wear googles!
Mikey and Henry have a true brother relationship they are either loving on each other or torturing each other.  Mikey had grabbed Henry's feet when Henry was laying on his stomach and dragged Henry around.  He thought he was being silly he didn't realize that poor Henry was screaming because he was receiving some nasty carpet burns.  Poor Henry.
We have an AMAZING Story time lady.  She is SO SO SO good at her job.  In the summer she does story time in the park.  This is Henry doing one of the songs with her.  The kids just love Ms. Sharon!
We had the adventure of dog sitting sweet Lady.  Lady is deaf and old but a pretty easy dog over all.  Even being an easy dog having her with us confirmed that no time in the near future will we be getting a dog of our own.
