Jonathan's Blessing Day

We had a lot of family in town because of Grandpa's memorial service--The more, the merrier! Jonathan is so lucky to have so many loving family members, especially three other boy cousins his age. It was a wonderful day!

Recent trip to Utah

Well, here's some pictures from our recent trip to Utah--proof that all 5 siblings were at one location at one time, and that Daniel and my Dad make a snazzy pair of matching suit buddies.

We ended up staying at Wilde's new Utah castle-spectacular when we went up for Grandpa Mackay's funeral. (I posted all of the pictures on http://picasaweb.google.com/themackays) It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Grandpa's life and have all of the extended family together to honor him.

Happy Saturday!

Isn't that a nice way to start a new post? I was thinking of giving it the title, "Evan 0, Salmonella 1" but I figured everyone would stop reading. Well, I may have lost a few readers anyhow, but onward we go.

Let's see, today we're finishing up our talks for Sacrament meeting (tomorrow), and deciding what we're going to do for the rest of the day. Since our activities must be limited to a location with modern plumbing, our options are somewhat limited. Uh oh, the too much information light just went on again. I gotta go! (Stop snickering)

Blondie

I need to put in a shameless plug for the newest member of the family. So sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Did I forget something important?

Jonathan Spencer Mackay arrived May 14! The kids are so excited to have a new baby brother! We're pretty excited too, but we don't sillydance around the room like Anna, or say "hold you hold you" like Kaitlyn. Kim had a fun idea to bring newborn baby pictures of the other kids to the hospital to see who the new baby looked the most like. It ended up being Anna! Poor Daniel, someday he'll get another blonde sibling, thereby calming his "I'm not really related to my siblings, am I" fears. Now that Jonathan is three weeks old, we think he's really starting to look a lot like his big brother. Maybe Daniel's hopes of a miniDaniel aren't dashed after all.

Family Frog Booger w/ Pasta

After much heel dragging and perceived peer pressure, I have finally succumbed and decided to create a family blog. Blog is such a gross word--it sounds like a frog booger or something similar. Perhaps I can call it our family information update and connection center on the Internet--FIUCCOTI. Yes, I love Fiucotti! Doesn't that sound better? More like tasty pasta with frog legs. Yum yum.
