It has been a busy year, party do to seeking out and purchasing a new home. It took a lot of time to sell our wonderful old home that we loved... but needed a new location and a little more room. Things were getting sketchy around that street that we lived on. But we did love our home loved the church ward that we were apart of and so it was hard to leave. But now that we are settling into our new home we are so thankful for this home and for all the wonderful people that have welcomed us here. We have awesome neighbors. You can just see God's hand in bringing us all together, it is crazy cool! Didn't know until we decided we liked the house, but three houses down is a friend that I met at my job when I graduated high school. She has a daughter about the age of my daughter. They are good friends and I am enjoying seeing my friend again. Then... two doors down is a family that moved in just a month before us. They found out a little after moving in that they had known their neighbor from years ago as well! Then one door next to us is a great family with two little boys that play with Daniel almost every day of the week. The kids go in and out of both of our houses all the time. There are other super friendly and nice people in our cul-de-sac too. We just love it. The school transition has gone well. I wrote a letter to the school my daughter goes to asking for a teacher that would be a good fit for her personality. They gave her the best teacher in the school! She has been teaching for 37 years and is so kind and sweet with the kids. She has been doing so well and learning a lot already.
Michael and I are enjoying the yard, and extra bathroom. We were down to just one useable bathroom in our old home and it got tight, and the kids would wake up in the morning when people would shower, so we have really enjoyed having our own bathroom now! :) the yard is nice and peaceful. There are a ton of birds that live in the trees near the back yard and you can hear them partying away all day long, lol. They are small birds so it is a nice noise ;) The kitchen is much bigger and great! Our table fits in the dinning room at full size! We love that!
We still have lots of our old challenges, TOYS, they are everywhere! But we are working on that :)
Our home is still not settled but I will show you pictures from when the house was for sale... then in a week or so I will post pictures of some of the painting projects! ( keep in mind they had a good camera... makes some things look very big :)
