Swallowing The Middle East

The countries of the Middle East are being attacked by something more sinister than a religious movement. It's Fascism dressed up as "The Religion of Peace".

Poker

I don't play poker.
I don't know how to play poker.
I never learned to play poker.

Somewhere in Israel's defense and intelligence world our political and strategic experts are assessing our risks, figuring out the odds, and working out a game plan for Israel's survival in the rapidly changing situation.

I wish them well
but I wouldn't want to have their jobs.
It's too much like poker.

The Happy Optimist

As an "Artist in Residence" at YIISA (the Yale Initiative for the Interdisciplinary Study of Antisemitism) I've been studying a specific set of unique image codes. (For a video of my presentation at Yale on these codes of Antisemitism click on Secret Codes)

Climate Change

There's an old pitch that carnival barkers shouted to entice gamblers to bet on a roulette wheel. It seems appropriate for the current situation (as viewed from Israel).

It is "Round and round she goes, and where she stops, nobody knows!".

Watching From Israel

The events in the Middle East (as reported by the Media) are wonderful, exciting, fast-moving, and optimistic. It is the inspiring story of the sudden birth of democracy in the Middle East. One could only wish that it were true.
