It's official! My family is moving to Utah. Dad has actually been out here for a couple of weeks already and the rest are coming soon. Mom's busily packing the house and trying to tie up everything there so that so that the move will go as smooth as possible. I'm excited to be able to see them more often... a 30 minute drive is a lot more convenient than having to buy a plane ticket. But I will desperately miss visiting them in California. I guess we'll just have to find some other reason to go! Garlic festival?
*Note: I still have plenty of reasons to visit southern California (Kim, my grandparents, Disneyland, etc). I just meant it will be less likely that I will visit the area where I grew up.
