Crochet Crazy!

I designed another hat for Clara... It's inspired by a juicy, summer watermelon.

...And I'm selling it on Etsy (along with some other hand-made photography props)! Wahoo!!!`

One good picture

I should just learn to be content with one good picture from a photo shoot with Clara. That's about all I get!

I just wanted to show off the cute hat I made her since it has been below freezing around here for the past few weeks.

Too bad she hates it and pulls it off every time I put it on her. She has now stretched it to the point that it fits me. Hmph.

I get lots of action shots during our photo shoots. This is Clara trying to escape out the window apparantly.

 I have to give her something to keep her attention. She only likes the hairbrush because she's never actually had her hair brushed. Maybe some day...

On a side note, she's become quite the housekeeper.

She loves to vacuum (by picking up every little thing she can get her hands on),

Mop (by drooling on the floor and then crawling in it),

help with laundry (by repeatedly shutting the dryer door),

Scrub the toilets (With her toys),

and do the dishes.

Now... if she could just reach the cupboard waaay up there!

I loved beating the UofU... Not bad for "a bunch of cheerleaders."

We let Clara open one gift before we headed out to my parents' house Christmas morning. One of the sweetest gals you will ever meet gave Clara this singing puppy. She LOOOOVES it! Clara enjoys dancing along to "Head, shoulders, knees & toes."

 Stockings for adults in the Leavitt household are very serious business... It's kind of a game to see who can stuff the most stuff into one leg of a pair of pantyhose.

Great Uncle Ron stopped by for a few minutes.

Dylan got an iPod, but it wasn't in the case. We were listening to Christmas music on it. :)

I got my mom and iHome and told her that she will have fun playing Dylan's iPod on it. She was genuinely excited.

 And then Tara gave her an iPod and she was really excited... I think we might have caught a glimpse of some happy tears. (I know, we're just getting iPods. A little behind the times...)

The dogs fared quite well at Christmas too.

Clara drinking her apple juice. She loves juice. And cookies. Sometimes I'm afraid she's a bit too much like me.

I think it says "Youngest Child. Mom's Favorite."

Then we went to the Peters to get a phone call from Kristin (serving a mission in CA). Clara loves hangin out with the "fun uncle." ;)



We were so spoiled, once again! We're also pretty spoiled to be able to visit so much family during the holidays. Clara loves having both her grandmas and grandpas just a few minutes away!
