Sweet Annabelle

I had a wonderful time getting to spend an afternoon with Sweet Annabelle and her Mom last week in Calgary.  I met her Mom when I taught in Brooks several years ago, and we have been friends ever since. It was great to spend some time catching up, and finally getting to meet Annabelle.  I was honoured to get to take a few pictures of her.  She is such a darling and her smile was contageous.  She did not like to sit still, however, we still captured some beautiful shots of her.  I look forward to our next visit!

Getting Back in the Swing of Things!

Wow!  It has been over a year since I have posted on here.  Too long.  I have missed it a lot, but I have been keeping busy- very busy!  I have still been taking pictures, and while some will be almost a year old, I plan to post some in the upcoming weeks to show you a little of what I have been up to.  Here is a quick recap.  Last June, my husband's hockey team, The Norfolk Admirals, won the AHL championship, The Calder Cup.  Over the summer, I once again joined Fresh Photography for several wedding and engagement shoots.  From mid-October until mid-January, I was back in the school teaching full time, and had a wonderful time.  The most exciting adventure over the past year however, was becoming pregnant and welcoming our first daughter into this world in March.  She is such a blessing and I love being a Mom! 

Please join me on this crazy adventure as I make my way around this world as a new Momma, and try to get back into my photography which I love and miss so much.  I have been busy over the past month buying new backdrops and props and look forward to using them over the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
