While we were in Utah For Jonah's spring break, we got to take a last minute trip to Saint George Utah. Dave was down there for a business trip. He was helping with the Mini Indy that his work puts on every year. This is our second time going. It's a venue where they have go kart racing. They had a sky diver and a NASCAR car there. We have so much fun every year! Jonah got to go swimming a few times in the hotel. We had a fun few days!
Since we have moved I have had some hard days, good days, and bad days. Living away from home has been really hard on me. I have been home sick really bad lately. The past seven months I've been trying to find a job that will allow me to be able to be home with my son, or a job that will allow me to get off work to pick him up from school. I have had some not go through. I finally had a job go through, which took pressure off me. I was really excited to know I would be able to stay home and watch this little boy with some disabilities and be there for my son. After knowing I had this job for the past month now things would be good. I received a call from my friend today saying that they were not going to use me anymore and that they decided to take their son to daycare. I was speechless, sad, mad, and disappointed. I was suppose to start next Monday. It's hard to know they only gave me one weeks notice when I know I could have been out looking for the past month for something else. I know my Heavenly Father will bless me at the right time and place I need to be. I hope it will be soon. I am thankful for family and friends that have supported me.
Back in October my Brother in law bought Jonah a Ginger Bread House. We weren't able to bring it home with us, so we left it at my parents house. We were at my parents for Thanksgiving and decided to make it the other night. These are the pictures after we finished it. We all enjoyed making it together! Thanks Uncle Steven for buying this for Jonah!
A few weeks ago while Dave's parents were in town we got to go tour Andrew Jackson's home. Here are a few photos that we took there
No picture. Boo! Since we moved two weeks ago we have been enjoying the pool we have here in our complex that we live in. We have been going to the pool pretty much all most everyday and Jonah has concurred a lot just in the past two weeks, Jumping off the step in the five feet, learning to use his legs and arms to swim faster, putting his face in the water while he swims, Jumping off the side of the pool. The other day Jonah looked at me and said mom I think I'm ready to take my water wings off to swim. At the time I didn't let him because I wasn't swimming that day. Today I am a really proud mom! I took Jonah's water wings off while I was in the pool and told him to swim. He did it!
Another great one he played on us tonight. It sure did scare the socks off us on this one!
Jonah jumps in bed with Dave tonight, as they were laying there Jonah tells Dave he will be right back he is going to get a toy. Dave is just about to fall asleep and realized Jonah never came back to bed. I hear Dave come up stairs which I am the only one up here. I said did Jonah fall asleep? Dave goes he's not in bed and I can't find him. I looked at him and said are you serious?!? He goes yea! We look up stairs on the couch no Jonah. I go down stairs with Dave, not in our bed. Dave goes unless he fell asleep in his bed, of course not there! Dave looks in the living room down stairs on the couches NOT THERE! I heard a little sigh at this point, but really couldn't tell if it was one or not. At this point I am really nervous even though I know hes somewhere in the house. I yell JONAH! He goes WHAT! Where are you!? I'm sleeping in my closet! Crazy kid! Then he jumps in bed and goes Dad I was playing hide sleep with you guys!

Today Jonah had a dental check up. Gets his teeth cleaned and everything is great. We find out he has one tiny cavity that was forming. We go to the front desk to make his next appointment to get it fixed. The lady looks at us and says you can come today at 3:00 to get it fixed. WOW! Ok, we might as well get it fixed ASAP!
Funny part of this post is... Jonah starts breathing the laughing gas and you could tell when it kicked in. He is looking all relaxed and kind of out of it. He kept saying I feel weird, so we asked him, do you feel like you are float in the air? Jonah says no! I feel like I'm a monster! Dave and I started laughing!
Last month Jonah's tooth got really loose, he wouldn't let us pull it out. Well one day at school he accidentally bumped his mouth against his friends head at school and this is what it looked like. Just hanging
Two days later he was eating some cereal after school and bumped his tooth against his others and it was dangling. I do not pull teeth, but knew this one had to come right then. So I grabbed his tooth looked away and pulled down and it came out as easy as pie. He was very relieved when it came out since his tooth had been bugging him for a few days.
