Friends!

I have some great friends who like to come visit! Suzette and her son Max came over this morning to meet Ethan. Ethan decided right away she was nice:)

As we talked I looked over and Abigail had gotten cozy with Max. I guess she wanted to be closest to the toy? Or maybe she just felt comfortable with him since she spent two days at their house while we were in the hospital when Ethan was born? (For that Suzette rocks my world since she also has twins to take care of.) (This toy is always a favorite for kids that come over.)

Although its blurry, I like this picture. Max must have decided Abigail weighed too much:)

When she plays with the barn she likes it to be on her lap and sometimes my lap. Guess she can get closer to it this way?

Play date

Today my good friend Emilee came over with her son, Myles. Myles and Abigail had a great time playing together! They held hands multiple times as they walked around, it was so cute!! Abigail also tried to hug him a couple times and Myles wasn't too into it:).

The only pictures I got of it, Abigail is more pulling Myles around, but still cute.

Around the House

This is a post with a lot of pictures of Abigail and Ethan. I'm thinking Grandparents will really like this post:). 

Here is what life is like at our home:

I let Abigail feed herself yogurt for a snack one day. She really liked it, and got it everywhere:

We were eating olives for dinner one night and I put Abigail's on her fingers. She thought that was fun:

Darl's Mom made Abigail a very cute Raggedy Ann doll for Christmas. Abigail decided to put her in Ethan's chair and warm her with a blanket: 

While I was in her room changing Ethan's diaper Abigail pulled out her hat and wore it around for awhile:

I LOVE that I can do Abigail's hair. She isn't a huge fan of it but if I can distract her with something else and work quickly, I can have my fun.
I french braided her hair. She was moving, I haven't done it in a long time, and her hair is thin and short so it does not look good, but here it is:

The other day I was baking and she was happily playing by herself. Well, not quite by herself. She had her stuffed cougar and our containers of flour and sugar. I think she is sneaking up on the cougar in this picture?

Now onto Ethan! He's not sure what to think about his first bath:

We decided to use our kitchen scale to weigh him one day. Looks like he's thinking that we're crazy:

Playing at the Park

On January 14th we decided to go to the park on our way home from the Amish Market. It was a little colder than we were dressed for so we didn't stay too long but we had fun!

The last little bit of pregnancy I wasn't feeling up to chasing her around the park and lifting her up on things so we hadn't been in a while. She really had a good time and was more self sufficient this time:

This park is close to our house and also has a large field. I cannot wait until we have a yard someday for Abigail to run around in! We brought a Frisbee and she had fun chasing it and running around the field: 

Ethan enjoyed the park too;)
