Bits and Pieces

So I thought I might as well throw in a few things I didn't blog along the way. Some are random but thought I would still share!!!

This was such a fun outfit to put together and dress her in. She looked so adorable and she was so happy when I took this that I just had to include it.

This was when we were on our way out the door to Chelsea's house. Her expression just turned out kinda goofy. I swear she probable thinks she has a crazy mom... I have the best daughter. She really cracks me up sometimes!

One night she totally was passed out on our bed. She's always preferred to sleep like this since day 1. I think her shirt says it all...

Just more picture time with mom... I love her to pieces!!!

First Pumpkin Patch Trip

We had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch. Even though she didn't really know what was going on she was such a good sport while mommy and daddy took picture after picture.

The haystack was a little too pokey for her...

You can't tell in the picture, but it began to rain and boy did it pick up fast! We still wanted to get a few more shots in before we had to hurry for cover...

This is the pumpkin we picked out... She must have saw one "this big!!!".


I picked out a few pumpkins to cover in glitter and they came out pretty good. I'll have to post a picture of them and the way they turned out...

Rebecca's blessing day & other family updates

Our little girl was blessed on August 9,2009. It was such a nice day and we had a lot of friends and family show up. There's was lots of food and we BBQ. I know a lot of you couldn't make it and missed you and wished you were there.










This one was taken at the end of the day after all the commotion settled and she was tired as you can see by her very red eyes... she had a big day!

In other news, David has had a few things happen. Recently, he has been called as the Young Men's President in our ward. He is really excited for the calling and has already seen some much needed positive changes happen. They still haven't found someone to take his Sunday school class but so far he is fine with keeping it. It's been cool to see him "grow" as hes received new callings and has had challenges to overcome. He has done such a great job thus far and I have confidence he'll continue to do so. He is also now a permanent banker at his branch which is he really excited about because he was a floater. He loves the people he works with and it's at a good location. He has also excelled there as well. He has many big clients now that were "loyal" to other bankers there but that switched to him to handle their business. We are so grateful for it and the blessing it has been for our family.

Jibber Jabber & Baby Laughter

I just want to say first of all, being a mom is so fun and is so rewarding. Especially when you have moments like these...

Rebecca is such a talker now is sometimes cracks me up. She has quite the personality now. If she gets upset and she gets mad at me, for instance if I put her down and she wants to be held, she'll still let me "have it" even after I pick her up and she stops crying. She will sort of yell at me... it's pretty funny. Lately she has learned how to laugh and has really started to find her voice. Here is a clip of her laughing with daddy. It's quick but so cute.

Another new "trick" she learned is gargling her spit... I haven't gotten it on video yet but I will soon. She is also learning to roll over. She hasn't been able to roll all the way over on her tummy but she can get on her side. Here a few pictures I snapped really quick before she could realize I was taking them! They aren't as clear as I would like them to be but there priceless!

Snoozin' the day away...

The other day I finished feeding Rebecca and she fell asleep. I took a few pictures of her taking her snooze.

She was so adorable. I just couldn't help myself!

She's our little sleeping beauty


It's crazy how time flies. She is getting so big I can hardly believe it. I remember when she was brand new and couldn't even hold her head up. Now she is able to sit in my lap, I can hold her with one arm and she is talking and jabbering like there's no tomorrow.

Our New Addition, Rebecca Nicole

June 12, 2009 at 11:32 am, Rebecca Nicole Reyes became the newest member of our family. She weighed in at 7 lbs 9 oz and was 20 inch long. She is so much fun and is learning and growing so fast! She is an extra good eater and is starting to fill out... she has rolls on the inside or her legs and even has a little double chin! We just can't get enough of her.

When she was 1 week old, we had some newborn pictures taken of her. Here are a few of them for your enjoyment...

Today, we went for our usual morning walk and I took a picture of her in her little outfit... I couldn't help it, she's too much fun!

And last but not least, she has been a smiler since day 1 but in the past 1 1/2- 2 weeks she has been able to smile when being talked to etc... I finally was able to catch it on a short video clip today while I was in the middle of changing her clothes... enjoy everyone and I will try to blog again soon!

Maternity Pictures

So I had some Maternity pictures taken 2 weeks ago and here are just a few I wanted to share...

I went to see the doctor yesterday and he said I'm Dialated to at least 1 cm and I'm 70% effaced! He said I'll probley still be pregnant through this week but he thinks she'll probley come some time early next week or any day next week! Yay!!!
