Happy Birthday Daniel
Today is Daniel's birthday. We are so excited to have a 2 year old in the house. He is so fun! For his birthday I made him this quiet book. It was so fun. I spent too much time on it, but I really enjoyed it and Daniel loves it too. He spent all of Sacrament Meeting playing with it today.
Tic-Tac-Toe
Number Train- This is after Daniel played with it. I do know how to count.
One of Daniel's favorite songs is called Slippery Fish. It has a fish, octopus, tuna fish, great white shark, and humongous whale in it. So this page has each of those and a net to keep them in.
A counting page and a Rocket page. The rocket ship flies to the moon.
A toolbox with tools inside and a snowman with a wardrobe of things to put on it.
A dinosaur land and a cave that the dinosaurs live in when they are not being played with.
Car page. The cars are lightning McQueen and Mater and what is supposed to be a lime green Dodge Charger (but it doesn't look like one).
And then killer whales. Daniel loves them.
We had a pool party yesterday for him. He loved it. Here is his cupcake.
We got chocolate milk for Daniel for his birthday this morning. He loved it!

A couple videos
Here is Daniel showing the paper that he wanted for a letter.
Daniel has learned to climb and jump a lot! Luckily he also has a bean bag chair that he likes to jump into.

Sleeping Bunnies
One of Daniel's favorite songs is sleeping bunnies. He is learning how to hop and loves to do this with me. Every once in a while, if he is tired, he lays down during the sleeping bunnies part, and then he just keeps laying there. He doesn't ever jump during the jumping part. That is when I know it is time for his nap!

Baby Book
This week I found the fabric scraps that I bought when Daniel was a couple months old to make a fabric book. I just wanted something that had different textures. So I finally decided to make it. It was really fun to have a craft that I could make in just a couple hours. It is not completely done, but close enough that Tyler has already started to play with it. I just need to put a nice piece of fabric on for the binding. It was fun to make.

I put a plastic bag in this page so it crinkles when you touch it.
This back feels like a tablecloth and can be easily washed.

Christmas/baby blessing
We had a wonderful Christmas break. The University of Texas started classes again last Monday. During the break we were able to go down to Houston and visit Josh's grandma and some friends. Then we headed over to Albuquerque NM and spent time with Jeff and Jenny. Aaron and Jenny and Abby and James and their families also came for Christmas. We had a blast. Daniel loved playing with everyone! He also loved his Christmas presents. His favorite present by far was a little basketball hoop. He loves basketball. This was his reaction to getting the basketball hoop. He was so sad and immediately became excited when he saw the hoop.
Another funny thing is that Tyler and Jared (Jeff and Jenny's baby) seem to have a lot of matching outfits. When we got there, Jared and Tyler happened to be wearing matching pajamas. Then they both had the same Christmas outfit except that Tyler's was green and Jared's was red. Here is a picture of them.
Because all of my family was in town, we decided to bless baby Tyler in Albuquerque. Dad flew down and joined us for the occasion. It was a wonderful blessing. Here a couple pictures. Tyler seemed to love the photo shoot.

Videos
I was going through our videos with Daniel yesterday and I found some that I love from the last couple weeks. So you can enjoy them too.
When we brought Tyler home for the first time.
Maddy taught Daniel to say Ty Ty
Daniel throwing the football. Josh and I were throwing it to each other and then Daniel figured out how to throw it correctly.
This isn't the best video, but Daniel has learned to say rah, rah, rah rah rah whenever he sees BYU gear. The wall that he is looking at in our room has all of our BYU memorabilia up.
Grandma and Grandpa Kuhn brought Daniel several presents that he loves! Here is one of them. He has learned to say go and truck!
