Week of the 24th Festivities

I had been looking forward to the week of the 24th because it was going to be only a 4 day work week, I would be getting paid for the holiday without having to do any work, and my cousin Jake's wedding was that Saturday. It turned out to be a really good week...I got to spend it with my husband, family and friends :) We started out the week by going on a horse ride for FHE. On the 24th Clint made me a shelf for our room while I supervised, and then that night we went to a rodeo with our good friends Tyler and Tahnee. Saturday was spent participating in wedding festivities all day long!

I rode on the back of Clint's horse Lucky and have a nice line of horse sweat/hair on my bum from it!

Spanish Fork Fiesta Day's Rodeo

Every time we go to the rodeo Clint is reminded how much he misses riding bulls...and I am reminded how grateful I am that he is sitting by me and not riding those crazy bulls!

They had some Brahma Bulls that were pretty neat, but they did some cheesy skit about the Mormon pioneers since it was Pioneer Day.

Tyler and Tahnee....it was Tahnee's first rodeo! YEEHAW!

Wedding Festivities

Jake and Tia coming out of the Provo Temple.

The clouds looked really cool!

I love my sisters!!!

Jake and I standing in first position :)

My parents at the luncheon with their matching purses! Okay...so my dad was really just holding my grandma's purse that matches my mom's...but it made for a good picture!

Grandma and Grandpa Sandstrom at the reception.

Britta, Tessa and I with the bride -- Tia. We really like her and are happy to have her in our extended family.

With our cousin Jake! If you haven't met Jake you are sure missing out!! He is a hoot :)

A fond farewell to my adorable friends!!

I thought I would take a moment to give a fond farewell to my lovely, adorable, creepy crawly, friends :) Earwigs!! They are so kind to keep me and Clint company in our house. They love to just let themselves in through our front and back door. They like to surprise me and hear me scream when I open up the dishwasher and they just drop down inside from nowhere. They even like to play hide and go seek with me behind our sugar jars on the counter. And best of all they love to hide in the wash rag or under the kitchen towel to scare me when I go to use it! They are such nice friends to have around the house....always keeping me on my toes! I must say that I enjoy their company more than spiders :) However, I now bid these new friends farewell as Clint has just sprayed around our house....
