As a member-driven organization that thrives when members participate, share, and collaborate, all CW members are expected to serve on at least one committee.

The ARAO Committee works to ensure that cooperative developers and communities that have been historically excluded have access to the resources, funding, networks, and the info needed to successfully and appropriately bring the cooperative model to all communities.

The role of the Professional Development Committee is to oversee the delivery of the CW Professional Development Training Program, The Art and Science of Cooperative Development. The committee also develops curriculum for public webinars and member-focused trainings.

This committee identifies potential new CW members and solicits memberships, as well as increasing the value of membership in the network through offerings, surveys, and more.

The fundraising committee assesses CWâs fundraising needs and identifies potential funding sources, both for the organization and network members. They work to generate revenue through foundations, grants, sponsorships, and individual donors.

The Marketing Committee sets and executes a marketing strategy to effectively reach all of CWâs audiences in a way that is engaging and informative. This committee identifies audiences, plans modes of communication, and sets strategies, timelines, and goals for improving CWâs interactions with its stakeholders.

This committee seeks to aggregate data illustrating the impact of the work of CW members and to create a resource library to further the field of cooperative development.
