So many fun things to do in December, and never enough time to do them all!
Jake had a great birthday. He got an ipod touch with his money, and he was ecstatic! All of a sudden we have a bunch of random pics and self portraits thanks to him.
He did get some great pics of Tyler playing basketball.
We did not have a single pic of Jake playing basketball this year. Unfortunately, his team did not do very well, so we never really felt like taking pictures!
After basketball one Saturday, we ran down to Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights. It was a very cold night!
We also had the ever popular preschool Christmas program. This year we had a special suprise because Aunt Amanda, Jackson, Andrew, Connor and Alivia came to see Joey sing.
Christmas Eve was a fun party at Grandpa Bill and Grandma Doreen's house again. We did the Manger scene and read the Christmas story.
Then Grandpa read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and we got our Christmas presents.
Then we came home and got ready for Santa to come to our house. We take the yearly pic in Christmas jammies.
And put out cookies and a Coke for Santa!
We must have had really good kids this year, because Santa dropped a load of toys at our house.
Unfortunately, mom got sick with a stomach bug on Christmas Day and had to go to bed. Dad did not get any pics of Megan and her toys. Because of the sickness, we had to delay going to McCall for Christmas dinner. Dad decided to take all of the kids out to dinner. The only restaurant that was open was, you guessed it, CHINESE! FA, RA, RA, RA, RA!
The next day, we finally got to go to the cabin in McCall. Part of the fun there was that Megan, Jake and Tyler all got to take their 1st skiing lesson at Tamarack Ski Resort.
After all of the festivities of Christmas, there is still one big party left....New Year's Eve and Dad's birthday!
He seems pretty excited to be 37! Good thing it was a big cake!
