Beckham is such a joy to have in our family. He is so thoughtful and kind. He has such a happy demeanor. Beckham is very determined to do things himeself. He wants to do everything Cooper does, including read Cooper's sight words that are on our wall. Beckham loves to give hugs and kisses to everyone especially Quincey. He is a great son, brother, and friend. We love him very much.

Quincey 2 Months

Quincey is now 2 months. When I took her to her check up she weighed 13.4 lbs and was 23.5 inches long. Dr Santos informed me that she is in the 97% for her weight and 90% for length. Quincey is on track to be 5'8". I am going to try to remember that to see if she really turns out to be 5'8". The picture with another baby is my cousin's baby Andi who was born 2 days before Quincey. Notice the size difference. I did not think she was that much bigger than other babies til I saw Andi. Quincey had to get her first round of shots at her apt. She was not happy to say the least. Over the last couple of weeks Quincey had started to smile in response to us and just the last few days she has even started to laugh a little. It is so fun to hear/see her smile and laugh. I did not do a good job at taking pictures this month but here are a few.

Super Stressful Day
Oh my GOSH!! We have had the most stressful 24 hours! Last night Chet got fired! Out of the blue, he had no idea it was coming! Can you believe it, his boss just came in and said this is not going to work, leave your key at the front desk. Are you freaking kiddin me!! 10 days before Christmas, no warning, no severence pay, just leave your keys!! So of course last night we were freaking out. How long can we live on our savings and food storage. Then this morning Chet started calling his friends to see if they have heard of anywhere that is looking for a new attorney. This afternoon almost 24 hours exactly from when he got fired his old boss called him and offered him his job back. Chet has said a few times over the past 6-8 months that he should not have left Tharpe and Howell. He took a chance on something that he thought would be a better fit for him and it turned out not to be. Needless to say he is happy to go back to doing what he knows and at a place that he knows. What a blessing!! What a stressfull day. We are so thankful to a Heavenly Father who watches over us.

Soccer

Cooper finished up his soccer season. He had a great time playing. He had two wonderful coaches (Angela and Skip). We could really tell that they enjoyed soccer and teaching the kids. They had great practice drills and we think that he started to get it over the last few weeks of the season. However, there were more times than we would like to admit when he was a little on the lazy side and did not want to run! Can you believe it? Cooper the boy who never stops, did not want to run. How ironic right. This was the first sporting event that we have been involved in and We are excited to see what next season will have in store for Cooper.

Fun Pictures
Quincey month 1
Quincey is now one month old. We love having her around. Chet said that she has smiled at him in response to his smile, she has not done that to me yet. She has started to focus on us while we hold her and she can cry well scream rather. I think that I ate something she did not like the other day because she cried for almost the whole afternoon. We still wake up every 2-3 hours but then we go right back to sleep thankfully. Quincey is starting to be awake for 2-3 hours at a time about 3 times a day. Hopefully that will help stretch out the amount of times we wake up at night. Cooper and Beckham love her a lot! I mean really love her. They both kiss her to death and they both want to hold her multiple times through out the days.

Quincey
Quincey is now 10 days old. It is so fun to have a new baby in the house. A side from the lack of sleep I am feeling great. Quincey loves to eat! At her week apt she had already gained 3 oz. I thought that was a lot. She has another apt on Friday I wonder what she will weigh then. Cooper and Beckham still love her to pieces. Cooper wants to give her lots of kisses where Beckham wants to hold her. I admit that I am not a professional photographer so please bear with these pictures. I did my best to get a few pictures of my cute little newborn.
Beckham Halloween Party

Beckham had a preschool Halloween Party yesterday. He was so excited because he finally got to wear his Iron Man costume somewhere. He had a fun time walking around the yard on their parade, then singing a few songs and gettting his picture taken. Again I recorded the songs on the camera, I am excited to see what he thinks of being on TV. Beckham loves his Iron Man costume and he would only answer to Iron Man the rest of the day.
Cooper's Fall Program
Cooper had a fall program at school where they sang a bunch of Halloween and other songs. The kids were asked to wear a navy blue shirt or their school shirt if they have one. I told Cooper what he needed to wear and he automatically said he wanted to wear his blue church vest. He had a great time preforming. Chet could not be there so we recorded it on my camera. When we watched it for FHE this week, Cooper was so excited that he was on TV. It was really cute.

Here is a brief run down of our time at the hospital. We arrived at Mountain View at 3:00 AM. The IV with Pit was started about 4. I was dilated to a 2 when I got here and at 4:45 they broke my water and was now dilated to a 4/5. At 5:15 I got the epidural and at 5:40 was dilated to a 7. About 6:30 they called Dr. Swainston becuase she was ready to be welcomed into the world. Her heart rate was dropping so she needed to come out quickly. Dr Swainston used to vacuume to help her out. I only had to push threw like 4 contraction and she was out at 6:53 AM. Not bad if you ask me, Just under 3 hours.

Beckham's Bike Ride
I cannot believe it! I woke up from a nap today went out front to see what the boys were doing and Beckham was riding his bike WITHOUT his training wheels!! He has only had a bike since his 3rd birthday (Dec. 2009). He did such a great job! His bike is still a little tall for him so he will need help getting started until he grows a few more inches. Way to go Beckham!!
Since I had the camera out, Cooper could not help but making sure he had a few poses with his bike too.

General Update
Well school has now been in session for about 6 weeks so I thought I would do a little update on what is happening with us. Sorry no pictures this time. I just wanted to do some general journaling.
Cooper has adjusted well to Kindergarten. He has said on occasion that he has to sit all day! However, his class has been working hard for about 2 weeks to earn a recess. They finally did what they needed to and so on Monday they will get to clean up early and go play outside before it is time to go home. Cooper is really looking forward for that. When school started Cooper was a little nervous, he only knew 2 friends in his class and he was really going to miss his preschool teacher Kris Purcell. He told me the other day that he likes kindergarten better now that he has met some new friends that sit by him. He seems also to like his teacher. As the parent, I wish I knew more about what they do in class. I can only get so much out of Cooper. A few months after we have baby I plan to go into the classroom and help his teacher, then I will know more. Cooper is still playing soccer and is really liking it. Every week he gets more comfortable with his soccer skills and he is really improving. It is fun to watch him play, he always has a big smile on his face. We feel really lucky, Cooper was put onto a team with a great set of coaches and other kids. There are a few kids who have played together for the last 3 years and they really help the new comers to know what to do. Lastly, Cooper is really excited for baby sister to join us. He is really rooting to name her Daisy. Yesterday, I started packing a hospital bag and he came in sisters room while I was picking out her clothes he wanted to help me. The phone rang so while I went to answer it he laid out all her jammies to see which one or two he wanted us to pack. It was so sweet and he was so excited. He had a hard time choosing just one so we packed like four.
Beckham is having a good time at preschool. We car pool with a friend down the street and they have become good friends. One day a week Beckham gets to go play at her house for about 30 min. before school while I drive the elementary kids to school and then the other day a week Riley plays here while her mom drives elementary kids. Beckham really looks forward to both of those play times. He has been working on his letters and occasionally he will start singing a song that they are learning. Beckham is really teachable and wants to be as independent as possible. He really pays attention when you tell or show him something and wants to do it right from thereon out. Recently, I decided it was time to teach Cooper how to properly hold his spoon/fork and of course showed Beckham too not thinking that he would be the one who actually could do it. But sure enough Beckham now holds his spoon/fork properly without any encouragement. I think that being teachable is one of the greatest talents one can have. He too is excited for sister to join us. I have a pain in the upper part of my right rib that is always there and occasionally sister kick that area and sends me an extra shooting pain. When this happens I always wince or something. Well one day that happened and Beckham said something to the effect, theres sister again kicking mommy. He continues to say, it is really annoying that she kicks you mommy because it hurts you. Bad sister. It was so sweet that he cared so much. He is such a loving little guy. He is always telling us how much he loves us and wants to give hugs and kisses all the time.
As for the adults in our family, Chet is doing well. He is still working as in-house council for Fidelity. He has been riding the bus to work, which only takes an extra ten min or so each way, and has been enjoying that time to just veg. He has plowed through so many books. So if you know of any good authors pass it along because he reads a book about every week. Thank goodness for the library. About 2-3months ago Chet got a hole in his bike tire and we have been to cheap to buy a new tire until two weeks ago. So for the last couple of Saturdays he has gone out with a couple of friends and rode for a while. He likes to ride his bike, but to him it is still exercise and therefore a chore. I try to tell him at some point exercises actually becomes fun and something to look forward to. But until you get to that point you just have to make yourself do it. I hope that he will soon think of biking as more than just exercise. I like biking and think it would be a fun thing for us to do together.
That brings us to me. I am scheduled to have baby in less than a week now. I am feeling the nesting instinct strongly. Everything I think about doing has to be done right now or else I get frustrated. I still feel good other than the above mentioned pain in my ribs. I was able to teach my cycle classes until the end of September. I am hoping that because I was so active during my pregnancy that my labor will be a piece of cake. The boys were not hard they only took 5 hours so I am hopeful that sister will be less time than that. So less than a week and we still have not decided on a name. We have three names that we like but honestly we are not even sure if we will use one of them. Hopefully in the next week we will figure out what we should name our little "princess" (as my niece Dallyn keeps referring to her). I am still in the Young Womens at church and what a great calling. I love the girls and have so much fun with them. Well that is pretty much it. Between being pregnant, young womens, always looking for new and fun music for my cycle classes, and chasing the boys around my weeks go by pretty fast.

32 Weeks
Since today was the first day of school and I had the camera out, Cooper wanted to take a picture of me. I decided to post it becuase some people have asked to see my pregnant belly. It is not the best picture since there are shadows on my face. But my belly is still there. I am now 32 weeks. I can hardley believe it. I am feeling pretty good. A little uncomfortable at the end of the day but other than that I feel good. We are ready to have her come and join our family. We still have not decided on a name for her; I guess we will within the next 8 weeks. Enjoy!
Cooper's Big Day

Today was the first day of Kindergarten for Cooper. He was so excited! Some moms and kids are crying. But not us. It was all I could do to get Cooper to hold still for a few pictures. However, he and Beckham had a hard time parting from one another. And then their reunion after school was so sweet. Most kids ran to their moms/dads but not Cooper, he ran straight to Beckham. I wish I got a picture of that hug. First day of school a sucess!

Other Random Events
Chet turned 35 on the 14th of August. We celebrated all weekend. Friday, the boys and I went and decorated his car. Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Glover came down and we went to dinner. While we were deciding on where to go Cooper suggested that we go to Olive Garden because Grandpa likes it. Unfortuntally for the birthday boy, it is not his favorite place. But how do you say no to such a thoughtful suggestion. Then Sunday, we made Chet his favorite cake. Greman Chocolate.
One day during the last month, it rained. Not a common occurance here in Vegas. The boys hurried and changed into thier swimming clothes and jumped on the trampoline. It was really fun to watch them enjoying the change of weather.
Golfing
Mr Fix It!

Cooper and Beckham LOVE to help fix things. Especially when it means they get to use tools. Grandpa needed help fixing a leak under the sink, then Dad need help hanging up a shelf above my laundry closet and lastly we did an FHE (Family Home Evening) on using tools. The boys had so much fun being helpers.
Water Fun

While at Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton's we spent A LOT of time in the pool. Beckham went from not wanting to get off the steps to swimming in no time. They loved the slide and jumping off the side of pool. They (including cousin Easton) could not resist stripping down to thier underware to run through the sprinkers. It was so nice to get out of the 110 degrees Vegas weather that the 95-100 degrees up there felt great. Not to mention that Grandma/Grandpa have HUGE trees troughout the yard that create great shade.

Update
I cannot believe that it is already JULY! It is Hot Hot in Las Vegas so we are keeping cool anyway we can. Not much has been going on in our household. On Monday my friend Bethany called me and said that she won tickets to see the premier showing of "Eclipes" at the Palms. So Wednesday morning we got babysitters and off we went. It was really fun and I thought they did a good job with the movie. The only other thing we have going on is girls camp next week. Grandma Darlene and cousin Kasia is nice enough to come and watch the boys while Chet is at work. I am really excited to go and be sill for with the young women. I am not one for camping so lucky for me it is only 3 days. More to follow on that when I get back. Until then Happy 4th of July!!

Bring on the Pink!!
I am now 21 weeks and yesterday I went for my big ultrasound. Everything looks good and they were able to determine that we are going to be adding a baby girl to our family. We are excited and nervous at the same time. I think that pretty much sums up our feeling about having a third baby all together. The boys can hardly wait for thier sister to come join us. The boys give her hugs and kisses regularly. Beckham has sung to her a few times which is really sweet. I am excited to have a shopping buddy. We have not come up with a name yet so if you have some names you like and would not mind us using let us know. Bring on the Pink!!
Family Reunion
Memorial Day Weekend we hosted a Glover Family Reunion. We started off the morning by going to the Southern Nevada Railway for a 45 minute train ride. The conductors were so friendly and knowledgeable about the train. Then we made our way to a favorite pizza place in Boulder City. After lunch we went to the Clark County Museum and looked at how Las Vegas has changed since pretty much the beginning of time. There were replica home to view that had wax people inside them. The people really creeped Cooper out. After the museum we were ready to go back to our house and relax a little before our BBQ dinner.

After church on Sunday we packed up our dinner and headed out to Mt. Charleston for some hiking and a BBQ. The hike turned out to be too steep for the younger boys and Grandparents but the others went on. After sometime of hiking they made it to the Mary Jane falls where they saw a waterfall and a cave. Once they came back down we decided that it was too cold now to BBQ at Mt Charleston so we came back to our house to eat. Glover reunion is not complete without a corn eating contest. Cooper had been so excited about the contest and low and behold he won! Monday morning we went to the park and Grandpa taught us how to play horseshoes. I am not very good, but luckily I was on Grandpa's team so we still won. We really had a fun time. Not all of Chet's siblings could make it and we missed those who were not there. Aside from that I think everything was very fun! I am so grateful for a wonderful family!

Cooper's Birthday
Cooper turned 5 on May 15th. He wanted to have a pizza and pinata party at home with a few friends. We made homemade pizza, played pin the pepperoni on the pizza and of course the pinata. We had a great time and the Cooper's friends brought him some great presents which he has loved playing with since then.
We are so thankful that Cooper is a part of our family. He brings a lot of energy and excitement to our home. He has a great ability to lead others and we hope that he will develop and put those leadership skills to good use as he grows. He is very determined and goes for the things he is after. Cooper is ready and excited to start Kindergarten. He is anxiously waiting for his chance to be a big brother again to come. We love you Cooper and are so grateful that you are our son!

Funny Story
Okay it is not funny HAHA but still kinda funny. There are two parts to my story. The first is that I am now 17 weeks. I still feel good aside from being tired. But even that has gotten better, I have not taken a nap in three days. I found a prenatal that I can take before bed and not throw it up, I am starting to feel the baby kick a little. I can still wear my clothes and unless you look close you might not even know that I am pregnant. Although I am getting into the "fat stage". Which is not my favorite way to look. Oh well, overall I feel very blessed with how the pregnancy it going.
The second part is that today my sister Alisha and I were talking about bleaching our teeth. We both agreed that we need to do it more often. My problem is that I don't like the taste of the bleach. Even when I try to use it right before bed, if the tiniest bit gets outside of my trays I have to take them out. Every time I get ready for bed I feel somewhat guilty seeing my trays and bleach sitting in the cabinet unused. Since Alisha and I had discussed this issue I decided that I should do it and just see how it goes. Needless to say it did not go well. I put them in, climbed into bed and sure enough that little bleach taste got on my tongue. I started gagging so I went to the sink and took out my trays but before I could brush the bleach away I threw up!! It was so gross! AND in the SINK!! GROSS!! When I finally stopped I then had to clean it up. How the heck do you clean throw up out of the sink! That is what toilets are for, so you can just flush it away and pretend it never happened. Did I say GROSS!! I threw away about 10-15 rags.
You may be thinking what the two parts of my story have to do with each other and it is this. But for my pregnancy I would not have thrown up. I don't think my teeth will be getting any whiter in the next 5 months!

New Things!!
We decided it was time to buy a sectional for our bonus room (tv room). So after nine and a half years our first purchase, as a married couple, (a black leather couch)has been replaced. Our black couch has served us well. It is still super comfortable and it good condition. We are sort of sad to see it go. I saw sort of because we are so excited for the new couch!!
Beckham and I went on our monthly date to Target (I know real fun hun but that is what he wanted to do. While there we found a great buy for some Nerf Guns. I made sure that he was able to pull the trigger by himself and then bought one for each boy. Chandler had fun playing guns too so Stephanie bought him one as well. All week that is all the boys want to do is shoot guns.
Lastly (and most important) is we are expecting something new or rather someone new in October (the 21st to be exact).
I am about 14 weeks pregnant. The boys are excited especially since Cooper has been praying for a brother or a sister for a few months now. Chet and I are also excited but a little nervous too. I have been feeling great other than being so tired. Family members have said something to the effect of "it better be a girl". But as far as Chet and I are concerned we do not care as long as he/she is healthy. In fact as busy and crazy as the boys are I have fun with them and I would not mind if I have a house full of crazy boys.

Month overdue
We got our laptop back sooner than 4 weeks, however, I have had a hard time getting back into the swing of things. So here is our update. Beckham is Potty trained!! He has not had any night-time accidents (knock on wood), and only a few during the day. GO Beckham!! As a fun side note, our good friends and neighbors potty trained Chandler the same weekend. Man we are on the same wave length.

Lied Children's Museum
Cooper's preschool took a field trip to the Lied Children's Museum. We have never been there before but we will be sure to go back. They had so many fun things to play with and explore. One of the boys' favorites was a tornado tunnel that had winds blowing really fast. They loved it. I just asked Chet what another thing they liked and he named off like 5 more things. So needless to say They had fun!! Thanks Kris Purcell for organizing such a fun activity and being a great teacher.
The Biggest Loser
We took the boys to the Gran Prix to ride the go-carts. While we were there we med Bob!! Yeah! I have never met anyone famous. Chet was brave and convinced me to take a picture with him!! He was really nice. Why he was at the Gran Prix is a mystery but I'm sure glad he was.
Utah for Spring Break
The boys and I drove up to Utah during our spring break. It was snowing for half of the week. SNOWING!! In APRIL!! Man are we glad we do not live there!
The boys love being able to run around gma's/g-pa's back yard. We fed the horses and sheep, went on a bus ride, mowed the lawn, colored eggs and did an Easter egg hunt. I enjoyed being with the family and spent a lot of time reading. My sister Cari, my nephew Kaide (12 years old) and myself ran in a 5K. We were pleasantly surprised with our finishing times.
Especially since none of us have ran 3 miles in a really long time. Chet was able to come up the Friday before Easter thanks to our friends Jake and Crystal for letting him bum a ride. We were glad to have him there for the Egg hunt Saturday. Then we all drove home Sunday.
Other Random Things
We went to Red Rock Canyon for a little fun hiking and Mickey and Minnie were there doing volunteer work. We were able to take pictures with them. The boys were super excited especially since we did not even see them at Disneyland.
Chet's good friend Brian and his son Mason came down to Las Vegas to go to the Cubs vs White Sox baseball game. The plan was for Chet, Cooper, Brian and Mason to go to the game but the Providence HOA (where we bought the tickets originally) had extra tickets so last minute we all able to go too. We took a bus down to the stadium and had a great time!
Well that is pretty much all that went on during the month of March. On to beautiful weather and spring time here. I think it was about 80 degrees today! I loved it!! Summer please do not come too quickly.

Quick Update!
Okay so our laptop decided to die so it is being fixed for the next 3-4 weeks. I am currently using a friends for a minute to check the banking, email etc. In the mean time here are a few updates. Chet has been offered a job with Fidelity National as one of their in-house attorneys. Which means no more bill-ables yeah for Chet!! His drive will be a lot longer but oh well. We are excited for his new adventure. Cooper has a field trip to the Lied Children's Museum, he has been looking forward to this for weeks. I will give more details on that when we get our computer back. Beckham is potty trained!! No more diapers!! We woke up a couple weeks ago and decided that it is time. He caught on and has been such a big boy going on his own and everything. As for myself there is not much to report. That's all for now. Until we get our computer back, I hope all goes well in your lives.

Lunch is Served
Today Cooper did not want to eat at lunch time. So an hour later when he did want to eat I was not ready to make another lunch for him. "I will make my own lunch then". He went inside and started cooking. I thought he would make a PB'n'J but when Chet went into check on him he had got out a pan, cracked an egg, thrown the shell away, got a cup of water and milk to pour into the pan and had the spatula to stir it all together. He then asked Chet to get the food coloring, one half of a bananna and a shrimp without the tail. Chet said with each request was very authoritative. Chet turned on the stove and Cooper cooked his Lunch. As you can imagine it did not smell good or taste good. He was so proud of his cooking abilities he wanted to try again with just an egg.

Lion King
A couple of weeks ago my mom and all of my sisters came to Las Vegas to have a girls night out. Chet was a trooper and kept my sisters 8 month old baby while we went to dinner and "Lion King". We had such a great time! The costumes were amazing and the actors voices were breath taking. If you have not had a chance to see it I recommend it. I love living in Las Vegas where we can go to shows anytime we want.
