Tuesday-I did defensive drills then after lunch watch a highlight video and did more drills after dinner we had a talent show then went to bed.

Wednesday - We did the same thing as Monday and Tuesday except instead of a talent show we went to seven peeks water park. We had so much fun My counselor was Fui Vakapuna (I don't know if that is how you spell it.)

Thursday- we did 7 on 7 passing league championship which my team lost in the semi finals but it was fun any way. then I drove home

This is a picture of me and my dorm counselor King Kong.

Girls Camp

I was lucky enough to spend last week with some of the most incredible Young Women. We had such a good time.

The greatest part about being in Young Women's has to be going to camp. I love being so close to Heavenly Fathers Creations. It is so awesome to be in such a beautiful place.

I became a pro with the Marsh mellow blow guns.

We had a great time on the waterfront.

I even stayed dry.

Our last night was a mountain top experience that was so incredible. It touched everyone that was there and I hope they will be able to remember that special experience. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have been given to serve these girls they bring so much joy to my life. I love being with them they teach me daily. I love how when I am with them anything seems possible. They definitely keep me young.

My Mom

You hear the saying everything I learned I learned in Kindergarten but for me everything I have learned was from my Mom.

My heart is full today remembering her. She was an unbelievable mom and Grandma. She loved her children and Grand kids. Everything she did revolved around our happiness.

I am very grateful to the friendship I had with her. I miss watching her with my children. At times I pause and smile knowing she would be proud of the choices they are making and who they are becoming.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of her and miss her I fill very blessed to have had her for my mom. I love you Mom Thank you for living the gospel and showing me the way to live with you again.

Saturday

My husband is such an incredible guy. Always willing to help people and never asks for help. He never stoped doing chores this past week while we were vacationing. He is very aware of peoples needs and never asks for help in return.

This Saturday Chuck learned how to be on the receiving end. We are very grateful for his brother and dad who heard we were doing cement and were more than willing to step in and help. We could not of done it with out them literally. Chuck got heat stroke while we were laying the cement and was so sick. The mud was getting hard way to fast because of the heat and we really had to rely on Adam(Chuck's Brother). Marshal and I tried to help shovel and do whatever Adam told us to do but believe me neither one of us knew what we were doing.

After the cement was laid Chucks Dad and Brother stayed and helped us shovel sand. If you would have seen the huge pile of sand you would have been impressed at how fast Adam leveled out the sand box.

Adam thank you so much for helping we know it is not easy to drive an hour to help us especially when you have work and stuff to do for your family. We cannot thank you enough. between Chucks schedule and my schedule it is taking forever to get the yard in and you helped us more than you know.

Thank You Karl and Margaret for all your help!!!

Cake & Ice Cream

We have a great tradition in our family where we get together once a month and celebrate all the birthdays for the month. It is a great way to stay connected with all our Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

This Past month Ike and the Boys were going to be in town so we took advantage of the party to hold a big birthday party for Nate.

We started the night off with trick candles. It was so funny to watch his face every time it lite back up. We told him he could not open any gifts till after the candles were blown out.

Then when he got to the gift from his dad.
The whole room was laughing we had wrapped several presents inside each other until it got down to a one inch box. By this point he was starting to get very frustrated because he had asked for a Nintendo wii and this little box was not going to have what he wanted. Inside the little box was a note that told him to go to another room where he found a big envelope with his name on it with a note that said something like Go see your Dad and always have faith in your dad. Ike then gave him another box to open which was the wii. The look on his face was priceless when he got past the size of box he new the wii should be in.

Side note Ike and I had been looking foe a wii for months and finally found one a week or two before they came.

Nate I hope you had a great Birthday, we were glad we could be part of it I love you.

Takin it easy

This last week we had the opportunity to spend a little time a way. My aunt has a farm house that she so graciously let us use (Thanks again Aunt Laurel and Uncle Blake) We had such a great time. You can tell the weather was perfect.

Ike ,Carson, Nate, Colle, Chad and Easton all joined us. The rest of our family could not get off work or had other stuff going on. They were missed.

Chuck and I recently have been talking a lot with our kids about how the greatest thing they will ever belong to is a family. And there role in the family. It was nice for them to be able to see how great a family can be when we work together and play together. Everyone pitched in and helped get our chores done and all the older kids looked out for the litter ones. It was so neat to watch.

Noelle's favorite part was the hot tub. She would wake up asking to get in it.

Charly's favorite was Carson teaching her how to ride the quad by herself, Ike had the kids run some races she loved that she was faster than a few of them.

Marshal loved shooting guns and actually hitting the clay pigeon's, being with his cousins and riding the dirt bikes.

Kendall (Stinkerlicious) she says playing.

Chuck's favorite part was getting away. Even if he had to come back early.

My favorite part was spending time with my family. We had a great time!!

Zoo

June 7th we went to the zoo. We did not expect it to be so cold and wet. The kids had a great time in spite of it.

We met Lara, Darci, Daphne, Zane, Scarlet and George.

The great thing about having passes is it was easy to convince everybody to leave when the little one got cold. Easton hated having his hands so cold.

Piano Recital

Tonight was Marshal and Charly's piano recital they did so good. Marshal played From Big Ben's Tower. He did a wonderful job. Charlys song was Big Brass Band.

I did not get a good picture of Charly. She played a duet with her teacher and did such a good job. Both of them have learned so much and are having a wonderful time. I don't even have to bug them to practice. YEA!
Keep up the great work Marsh and Charly!!!!

Discovery FHE

I love this photo of Easton he was all over the place. We had a great time monday night. We met up with some of our favorite people for FHE at the Discovery Gateway. (Colle, Easton, Dan, Lara, Daphne, Zane, Scarlet and Darci)I actually got a photo of them together.
Here the girls are dressed like girls from other countries. Notice Charly and Daphne posing for there photo shot.
I loved watcheng Kendal and Scarlet dance. The could of stayed in this area all night. They had fun dressing up in all the weird costumes. They had so much fun and did not stay in one place for long. We can't wait to go back.

Skateboarding

School is out and the kids have been enjoying the outdoors. Kendall has been following Marshal everywhere and wants to do whatever he is doing.

She even thought she was big enough to ride the skateboard, we found her at the top of the ramp we have set up for Uncle Ike leading into the house. She was ready to race down, keep in mind the ramp is not straight it has a sharp turn.

Luckily Marshal caught her in time to teach her how to
board. She thinks she is a pro now.

The girl has no fear I just hope next time she is out boarding she might remember to wear shoes.

Graduation

Noelle graduated from Kindergarten on Thursday. I can not believe that she is actually going to be going to school all day next year. What will Kendall do?

Noelle receiving her diploma.

I could not resist this view of her with her cap on.
She looked so cute and was so excited to be graduating.
Noelle did so good in her program. It was so cute to watch her do her part, she had to stand on her tip toes to get the microphone close enough to say her lines.

Proud Dad!

Kendall and Easton were glue to the kids during their program they loved listening to all the songs. Aunt Colle also attended (Thanks Colle for all your support.

We Love you Noelle and our so proud of you. You are growing up to be such a neat young lady. I love spending time with you and am looking forward to watching who you will become.
