Even though we were only there 2 days and the driving seemed like it would never end, we had a GREAT time! I'm so glad Ryan, Mandy and the boys were able to come, Luke has such a great time with them, (poor Brook the only girl, don't worry Tatum will soon catch up) Thanks Mom and Dad for an awesome Christmas present!!!
I thought Tatum would look so cute with these, but she wasn't having anything to do with them. I think it's a great souvenir for her first trip to Disneyland!
This of course made Luke's day, but you coulndn't tell by his face. I didn't realize how scared he looked, but he really was excited!
Our first day was driving, yes driving. Let me just say I do not recommend driving with children under the age of 3. i think my pict will explain. Tatum was sooo mad at times and I was so desperate to keep her happy, that I gave her the bag of Doritos! Luke was happy as long as there was a movie playing and he had plenty of snackage!
This year was an easy Christmas for me because my parents were taking us to Disneyland the day after, so I thought I wouldn't do as much. Luke had been telling me he wanted a Red Truck from Santa. If any of you know him or my Family you know why! He's happy with Trucks trucks and more trucks so thats what he got! OH and a forklift to load his trucks, that was a big hit!
Spending the week in Abq. was so fun, Chris and I were actually able to spend sime time together ALONE without kids it was sooooo nice. I think we get caught up in work and kids, we forget what life is like with just each other. We shopped, and one night rode the Tram to the top of the Sandias Mountain (at night) it was awesome!!! I'm not sure I could do it during the day, it's pretty high! Of course I don't have any pict. I didn't take my camera! We were glad Janie and Lee were so nice to let us stay for soooo long, we owe you big time ! Thanks!!!!!!!
Here are some pictures we MADE the kids take, don't they look thrilled? As you can see Draeden was mad he had to stop playing video games to come take a pict. We were glad AJ was able to come spend Thanksgiving with us too!
We went to the Botanical Gardens, it was so cool. These are some pictures of Chris and I on the Ant, and some of the animals made out of christmas lights. It was FREEZING, but we still had a good time. You wont see any pictures of Luke, he was way to busy with playing with Keaton to take any pictures!
This Thanksgiving was the first time Chris's mom got to see Tatum. It was so sweet, Tatum went right to her and never left her sight for a moment. If Nadra walked away, Tatum would cry, she crawled around saying nananana, it was priceless! I was so greatful she was able to come spend time with us in New Mexico, I hope she had as much fun as we did! Thanks Nadra!
Let me start by saying she is a MESS! She is into everything! We put the tree up and she went straight for it! She completely destroyed the train underneath, along with the tree skirt! My moms tree has absolutely no ornaments on the bottom of it, Well it was beautiful for as long as it lasted!
