Christmas 2008

Chief and I spent Christmas in Utah this year. We ended up going to Logan before Christmas and Salt Lake after Christmas. It was the best Christmas because we had the privilege of spending the Holiday with our family and close friends. The Snow in the Salt Lake Valley.

Thanksgiving 2008

The Mississippi River at Sunset.

Chief and I spent this past Thanksgiving at our home in Sippi. My mother and Dennis flew out to for the week and we took them up to Memphis, TN and around Starkville, MS. The were able to get a true sense of the "Southern Lifestyle."

Our friend from Utah, Mike Vilven came over to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. It was great to be surrounded by great families and friends.

To all our families and friends that weren't able to celebrate Thanksgiving with us...You were missed, loved and thought about on that special day and everyday. We will see ya'll very soon. Happy Holidays!

Giving Thanks

As Thanksgiving approaches, I thought I would take a moment to thank all of my friends and family. The month of November, gets me thinking about everyone who's lives have touched me and made me who I am today. For without you I would not be who I am, so Thank you for being a part of my life and defining the better part of who I am.

So this is to everyone out there who has participated in my life, whether big or small, it doesn't matter, just the mere presence has made an impact on my life, Thank you!

To my wonderful husband, You are my light, my love and my life. Thank you for accepting me for who I am and helping me become a better woman. I wouldn't be where I am nor who I am without you! Love You Babe!

I came across this Alicia Keys song "Super Woman" that is playing and it made me think of all the strong women out there. All of the women who are in my family (Mom, Patty, Grandma's, Aunt's and Cousin's), my friends (Kristen, Kari, and so many more), and the women whom I do not know, Thank you for making this a better place to be.

Our Home In Sippi

This past weekend we headed home to our house in Sippi to get our winter necessities for our upcoming trip home to Utah. While we were there we went to dinner at our favorite place in Starkville, The Veranda for dinner.

This picture was taken before we headed out to dinner.

I finally took a picture of the front of the house for you all to see.
