It's a beautiful day

Yesterday Aila and I ventured up to Provo Canyon and stopped at one of the exits where there is a trail to walk. It was so peaceful up there and such a beautiful day. The nature here in Utah is breathtaking to see and so green with lots of tree's. I love going on walks here, I can't help myself get carried away on becoming snap happy everywhere we Rome! It's the only way to go in our day in age! I snap away on my handy dandy phone, which takes pretty decent photo's when I don't want to drag around my humungo Canon! Aila loves to beg me to let her out of the stroller to Rome around and explore. She loves to do what she wants to do and if your not doing what she wants to do, she will let you know! She is a stubborn one sometimes, but I notice if she's out and about in the sun or exploring the great out doors, she's a happy camper. We had a good day enjoying the perfect weather and naturally midday after our walk we ate lunch and then it was off to dreamland for Ailapie. She will be 2yrs old Aug 20th!! WHAT!? 

We better get crackin on baby #two...pronto! ;)

Historic Old Town Provo

My camera, Aila and I decided to split the day up by taking a long walk in Old town Provo. Their rebuilding the Provo Temple, new shops are being located there and I love the touch of the vintage oldness it has ha ha. Its been awhile sense I took some carefree photo's just for fun. It was super hot, but we still had fun! Especially Aila, she couldn't get enough of the vintage mini side by side. She cried when we had to head back home for her nap. Can you believe we will have a Two Year Old on our hands next month! WHOA!? Time to get cracking on baby #2 soon so Aila can be a big sister! Soon enough, but till then we will enjoy our sweet pea!

Girls Weekend

Girls just wanna shop! Ain't that the truth! Ha! 

My fam came out to Utah to visit and it has been a blast! The guys had a guys riding trip planned this weekend so us girls had a girls weekend with the kiddos! We started with shopping at The River Creek and later walking about temple square. Saturday we went to The Farmer's Market in Provo. Great food, shopping and a fun way to spend the morning/afternoon with the kiddos. For lunch I got a Venezuelan Arepa with yummy chicken and homemade cilantro dressing! It was really good! I am going to have to learn to make them! Y U M-O!

Fourth of July week/weekend

Well Fourth of July was a blast! We are super spoiled that we had so many visitors come and celebrate with us. My parents came out tuesday night and will be here for almost two weeks, My sister and her fam came saturday and will be here an extra week [YAY] and our friends Scott, Chelsea and Henry Glenn all from California! The Fourth was a lot of fun, Good food and good company indeed! Then it came time to set the night on fire! FIREWORKS!! I couldn't help myself to not capture the beautiful night sky! Owwww's and Awwww's!
