I have the best intentions. But I am a mess, I really am. I want so bad to be that girl who has all homemade curtains, and fresh baked bread. The woman who has the wall decor you saw at the store, but it's bigger, better, cuter and more creative and she made it from scratch. So many times I tell Brandon I want things like this...

But I refuse to pay a whopping $20 on it because I *can* make it for half the price. But for some reason the end result 99.9% of the time is this...

(Sitting in my storage room, been there 6 months)
Block letters of our last name for my family room

(Sitting in this box for the last 5 months)
Apple pie

(Not gunna happen)
Tonight I was turning over a new leaf. I thought to myself, "I'm going to be a mom now, I need to do mom things." Talk is cheap. I just need to sit down and do it. So I decided to hand make all my thank you cards for my baby shower!
Three and a half hours later and only 6 cards finished (still having 31 to go) it's time to face the music. Seriouly who enjoys this? I cut the paper to short, I don't have the right accent color, I need ribbon but don't have any, I want the little puff dots to make the cards 3d but of coarse I don't have any. Buh-hum-bug, too much trouble if you ask me. Needless to say Brandon and I are headed to wally world after this post to buy the remaining thank you cards. I've changed my mind. I don't want to be that girl anymore, she can shove it.
