Bravery

Ella finally decided she was ready to pierce those ears.
We met Lisa and Taryn at the mall, so her and Taryn could do it together.
Ella was TERRIFIED.
And yelled ouch a couple of times, but shed no tears.
Taryn was like a pro. I don't even think she blinked.

I think they are loving having their ears pierced more than any little girls in the world.
Obsessively changing their earrings!

Alaska 8 years later

It had been 8 years since I had been to Alaska,
so I was so excited when it worked out for Me, Lesa, Jena, and Tara to go last summer.
We had way too much fun.
My pictures are all out of order.
This first pic is of our last day.
We flew on float planes, which was amazing and beautiful, to Katmai.
It is a national park that you can go see a TON of bears. This one just casually walked by in front of us.

Here is Tanner, Lesa, and Brad with Lesa's monster king she caught while we were fishing up the branch.
She was pretty stoked on that fish.

Brad and Kotah at Katmai. Kotah was way too much fun. One of the happiest people to be around.

Incredible watching all these bears catch jumping salmon and eat them.

We decided to have a dance party while we were up the branch. It was pretty much the best dance party I have ever been to.
The best part was when I was "dropping it like it's hot" and my pants split all the way up. It was all on film too.
We bought these flashy captain hats. They were worn once, for this picture.

Tara, Me, Lesa, Jena.
Brad's sisters are pretty hot!

Brad helping me reel in his fish. So sweet.

Lesa, Kotah, and Me making some delicious breakfast on the Sea Dog. Quite the fancy digs.

Lesa, Kent, and the fish. ( I love this picture)

This was right after we arrived in NakNek. We were pretty excited to see each other after 4 1/2 weeks.
There is our beautiful Sea Dog in the background
King Salmon airport.
Reunited.
Check out that ride, yes the shotgun window is missing and has cardboard covering it.

Lesa, Tara, and Me

I flew into Anchorage a day early and got to spend a day and night at Merm and Jathan's.
It was great. We had so much fun. We went to a beautiful lake, ate delicious ice cream, and made amazing salmon chowder.

Merm, and Me!

Andelyn's 4th

Way back in July little Andelyn had a big birthday.
She turned 4.
It was quite and exciting day.
She woke up and uncovered her first present, this adorable vintage kitchen.

We had a Dress-up tea party.
Andelyn loved looking fancy.

She got really spoiled.

They decorated little pots for their sucker flowers.

Then we went to the joke that was the "Highland Carnival"

Andelyn is the funnest little girl I have ever met.
I love her way to much.

Summer fun!

Our summer was full of days like this (in no particular order)
swimsuits
cousins
Grandma's house
Popsicles
water fun

Yes these are my three gals, they are pretty, they are funny, and they are full of something.

Love this little body

and this one

Of course, what is summer without the AF parade
Thanks to my nieces for sacrificing themselves to cheer leading,
so that we can all go support them at the parade.

Brad's cousins, Crystal and Cami were in the play Cinderella at the Alpine Playhouse.
I knew my girls would die over such a thing so I got them fancied up and we were off.

Brad's Mom, My Mom, and Brad's sis Lisa came too.
 Lisa and Andelyn

Cami, and Crystal, they did such an awesome job.

Still kicking

I am the lamest of the lames.
I mean where have I been
I have not even gotten on a blog in like 4 months
It' terrible.
I will tell you ,it is all due to Facebook.
It is the dark pit in my soul that sucked out my love for blogging and replaced with an obsession of facebook indulgence.
The instant gratification of knowing what some long lost person, that I knew
when I was in pre-school, is doing at that very moment, and who they are with, is just too enticing.

Now what
therapy, counseling, a good dose of the book of mormon??
yes
but I need to catch up on my life on this blog of mine.
I have 6 months of happenings to report on.
Yes 6 months
My last post was about Ava turning 1, and she is practically an adult now.

Don't expect any order or great details to this catch up and if anyone does happen to follow this,
thanks

Rewind back in time
to a great concert with some equally great ladies.
Parachute
They came, they played, Will sang, we swooned
it was magic

Yes ladies it's Will

These two deserved to be blogged about for displaying the most uncomfortable, awkward date ever imaginable.
They were so uncomfortable with each other that they thought it was necessary to dance in the strangest ways the entire night.
I think they might have just gotten done studying for a test at BYU and then headed to the concert to torture those of us in view of them.
Every person around them was taking pictures.
Everyone
I just sounded like a total brat
I love BYU

Emily, Meee, Nicole, Shannon

In May Me, my Mom, and Miss Ava went to Boise for my cousin Chelsea's wedding
It was great
Chelsea became a Mrs. Roberts like me.

I got to rekindle my love for my cousins
Brittany, me, Ashley, and Nicole

Oh my Mom, she is the best, and she is very pretty

Mr and Mrs Jonny Roberts

Jumping back some more
we have my little darlings dance recital
Big step up from the last one
Andelyn did not wipe her boogers on her tutu and then lick them off phwey I was nervous.
After having on of the Mom's tell me Ande was "a little ADHD" I didn't need any more shenanigans.

Check out these rugged little campers.
Memorial Day made for some awesome camping out west.
The best part was when we woke up to an insane amount of snow, we barely made it out. A lot of the people camping with us had to leave their trailers at the camp until it dried up.

Brad was pulling out dead trees with his 4-wheeler.
Yea he is pretty cool

A trip to the zoo with some cousins and 2nd cousins.
Look at all those kids.
scary

My Grandma is so great.

More catching up in no particular order coming soon.
