Summer Challenge 2011 Update

Well I must admit I haven't started off with the Summer Challenge.

This is mainly to do with a change in circumstances, so I am now tired also it has been too hot to stitch.

Hoping to catch up very soon though.

Chart & Thread Hunting

Why is it the most essential part of doing a Cross Stitch design can take ages?

I love stitching whatever ~ but chart & thread hunting seems to take ages, as I can never make mind up what to stitch for what.

This weekend will be fun ~  chart & thread hunting for my Summer Challenge.

Summer Challenge 2011

I have decided despite it being the school summer holidays I must fit time in to stitch even it is the evenings till late.

As I am in a few exchanges & round robins I have decided to set myself a challenge starting from Monday.

Each week my goal is to complete one item.

This weekend I will be hunting charts , material & threads out ~ all ready to go.

Here is my provisional order:

1) Prince Charming (Frog) Exchange
2) ABC Exchange
3) Quotation Ornie Exchange
4) Star Sign Exchange
5) Halloween Card Exchange
6) Autumn Biscornu Exchange

This is as well as fitting in birthday cards etc.etc.

I plan to update it weekly on here also.

Long Time No Post

Thought I would give the blog an overhaul.

I've changed the name for starters ~ as anyone that reads this will know I am Biscornu mad ~ hence the new name.

My stitchy bug has gone  awol, but hopefully not for too long.

Behind With Stitching ~ Arrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

Well the School Summer Holidays are now upon us.

I hate to say this, but I am behind with my stitching big time!!!!

The hot weather has made it almost impossible to stitch & I have round robins coming out of my ears.

What I need is a BIG kick up the bum to get myself back into action.

I'm hoping to have an afternoon/evening sorting out all charts & threads for things that need to be stitched & done in order asap.

So hopefully within a couple of weeks I will be back on track & up to date
