Utah Camping & Four Wheeling

Friday night we met Kip and Chantel at Box Elder Campground in Mantua Utah for a night of camping in the mountains.

On Saturday we met up Maria, Nick, and Grandma Bing. We rode 13 mile to the top of Willard Peak that overlooks the Ogden valley.

We had a great time.

The Birds and the Bees

So, Ashlyn my seven year old, asks me "Dad is the birds and the bees gross?" To which I wisely responded by asking her "Would Heavenly Father create anything that is gross?"

After she thought on that for all of 3 seconds she replied with"Yes! He created mud and poop!"

Good points Ashie! This last one is way too smart for me!

Payton @ Scout Camp

Wow, what an awesome week for Payton!

Canoeing, swimming, shot gun shooting......a boys dream! Payton is still there and having a great time.

Camp Trevor Reese Jones in Athens, TX is beautiful and an outstanding facility.

Summer Swimming in Texas

If you have ever been to Texas in the summer you know that in order to survive the heat you must LIVE at the pool.

Under that banner we have already been to the pool 7 times in 10 days. Payton, Abby, and Ashlyn are fish and I'm sure if given the chance would sleep in the pool.
