I have been training with the local roller derby team for hmm... a couple of weeks now. I am still very much a beginner skater, but it's so much fun and I love it.
What's new with you guys?!

It's kind of like that saying, "Don't eat where you shit." We are shitting everywhere (pardon my language). When is it going to stop and when are we going to hold ourselves responsible? I, myself have been making too many excuses and not acting on my beliefs."As a matter of fact, the average American generates about 4.6 pounds of solid trash a day! That means each average American produces about 9.2 pounds of trash in only two days. In a year’s time, that equals 1,460 pounds of trash per person. If you consider the population of the United States, you will see that as a country, they get rid of about 210 million tons of junk every year!"[[http://library.thinkquest.org/]]
"The most recent state-by-state data on obesity rates for youth 10 to 17 are from 2007 and also were included in last year's report. According to the data, 20.4 percent of children and adolescents in Texas are considered obese." [http://healthyamericans.org]

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is out attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of out attitudes."
Punkin Chunkin... I wish I could attend :/ Spellbinder 1988 Review Video is suggestive, but nothing you wouldn't see on today's programming. I give it: Tim Daly and Kelly Preston costar in this magical drama about a young lawyer who falls in love with a woman named Miranda. But Miranda has a secret… I don’t want to give too many spoilers so I am going to keep it to a minimum. But I will say this movie is great. I love the plot and the characters. The movie ends in a direction very unexpected and doesn’t end with a “happily ever after” good-feeling. Normally I love happy endings, but love doesn’t always end up with a walk down the aisle. Anyway, watch it and let me know what you think. Spose's "I'm Awesome" - it cheered me up today on the way home. And the video is hilarious... Love the Snuggie part. The fact that it is now COMPLETELY dark outside by 6 p.m. And last, but not least: Zombie elves |
