Anyways, Niki is experiencing some freedom - 4 years in the making. You really have to take a look at this post from a few years ago. Go ahead, click on the link. I'll wait. When I look at those pictures I honestly can't believe it all. Can you? My goodness. So after 4 years of wearing shoes and a brace every night, she got the news that she no longer needs to wear them. Yay! She is a free woman. So we kissed them goodbye (literally) and packed them away.

Niki always asks me if I need privacy these days. It has been nice to use the bathroom with the door closed :)

But I just heard a HORROR story about a friend of a friend's blog. A woman stole her family's identity. Like stole pictures of her kids and claimed they were hers! CREEPY. So I decided to go private. It won't happen for like another month. Please comment with your email.

We had a really fun Halloween! Niki was a "Superhewo" and G was a mouse. I was a French painter/Venetian gondolier/something or other? And I decided that Kris would make a great Tiger Woods, which he did. Although it would have been fun to be his mistress :) These are pictures from both our ward's Trunk-or-Treat and Trick-or-treating.

For some reason laundry baskets are fun, right? Lately this has been the hot spot. Niki has been into being the "cat" of the house so she brought it out one day to be her cage. I quickly realized that G liked being in there too which I like because it makes her stationary!

4 months

This critter is 4 months old! Time is flying by. She is.....she is.....just the best! Her latest measurements: 14.8 pounds 23.5 inches long. Niki at 4 months: 11.8 pounds 23 inches.

first day in the water

We went to Alligator Pond today. It really is the perfect little beach for the kids. Gena seemed to like the water, although there were no smiles to tell us for sure. She just hung out and chilled for a while. She even did some boogie boarding.
