Easter Highlights

Easter was so much fun. We loved having our family here. Aiden and Evie had a great time dying eggs and playing together. We did go to a community Easter egg hunt. Evie was an egg hunting pro. Aiden on the other hand, was more interested in the fire truck especially when he figured out the eggs were hard boiled and not filled with candy.

We love the bunny ears Aunt Tara sent us!

Wow... Look what the Easter bunny brought!

Answer to Prayers

Ever since Grandma and Grandpa Johnson’s visit at the beginning of March, Aiden has prayed every night that they would “come to Aiden’s house again.” Well, his prayers were answered. Grandma and Grandpa returned this past week with Uncle Brandon, Aunt Lisa and cousin Evie. Even though the fish eluded us once again, it was so fun to have them here and to celebrate Easter with them. Here are some highlights.

Fun at the discovery center! Who doesn't love a ball pit?

What do you think?

As most of you know we are expecting a new baby in August. We are very excited and are looking forward to our new addition. We thought is would be fun to find out what you think. We find out if it is a boy or girl on April 9, so you have two weeks to vote. Have fun and don't forget to check back to see if you guessed correctly.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

I didn't dye our milk green this morning and our day was pretty low key, however, we did partake of our favorite St. Patrick's Day feast, corned beef and cabbage! This is probably my all time favorite meal and it's on Shae's top 10 list. It was Aiden's first experience. He loved the corned beef and potatoes however, wasn't too fond of the cabbage. Mmmmm... It was delicious! Hope you all had a fun green day!

Friends come for a visit!

My good friends Heidi and Tami arrived from Reno this past week with their sons Gavin and Owen. We had a blast reminiscing, playing and Tami's favorite, napping (Just kidding, Tami). Aiden, Gavin, and Owen had a great time playing together too. It was so fun to see them interact and teach each other new tricks. I can't believe how fast these kids grow up. Stay tuned for our next visitors. They arrive on Wednesday.

A day at the park!

Yummy picnic!
Aiden's new favorie thing to do is jump off of anything.

Enjoying a seesaw ride with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson!

The weather was so beautiful while grandma and grandpa were here. After a morning of fishing, we met Shae and his dad at the park for a picnic. It was so fun. Aiden loves being outside and playing at the park.

Grandma and Grandpa Come for a Visit!

Aiden loved to read books with Grandma. I think they just about got through his whole library.

We have been so excited for our visitors this month. We have lots of friends and family coming. Keep checking our blog to see who's next. Our first visitors were Grandma and Grandpa Johnson from Utah. Aiden was so excited for them to come that he prayed "bampa and mamma come to Aiden's house" for a week. We had a great time with them and our only regrets were that the fish played a great game of hide and seek from Shae and his dad, and that they had to leave too soon.
Aiden loved having his grandma and grandpa here. He had to show them all of his books and toys and all the new things he could do. They also enjoyed listening to him talk a mile a minute.

New Bike

Since spring is starting to show its face around here, we thought it was about time to get Aiden a tricycle. We found this one for a steal at Costco and couldn't peel him off of it. Even though he doesn't quite know how to use the pedals yet, he does know how to get around on it. And of course with a new bike comes a new helmet. We are just thankful he likes to wear it. It is so fun to watch kids learn and grow. We can't believe how big he is already!
