Klara King

Our sweet baby Klara King was born July 5th at 4:21 pm!
We are so happy to have a beautiful baby girl! She is sweet and cuddly and I can't get enough of her hair!

Our Beautiful Girl

And this is how it went:
Before . . . (for those who I promised, but never provided, a prego picture)
First Family Photo!
(In between, there was a fast labor and delivery. Ben gave me an intrathecal injection now that he's an official CRNA. It was wonderful. Then, we got to meet our beautiful Klara. Such a miracle and a blessing)
Going Home!

Big Brothers!

It was so good to have so much of our family visit. Thank you Cassie, Scott, Ellie, Brooke, Grandma and Grandpa Clingo, and Royce and Jessica King family for sharing in some of our early moments!

Since then . . . .
. . . a little sleep
tummy time . . .

. . . and lots of love and fun. It has been so great to have a new baby and she is a wonderful blessing to our family.

Recent King Family Highlights and Pics:

 Las Vegas
(Levi actually really liked this
and got mad when we tried to "free" him)

Levi turned 2! He's so fun, sweet, and adventurous. Can't believe our little blondie is 2!

Easter! So fun to have Cousins Mayla and Betty with us!

Chilling. We've had great weather this spring and have spent as much time as we can enjoying it.

Camping at Balance Rock

Visiting our long-lost Buffalo buddies in Boise- the Lishes and Steenbliks! These are the only pics I got- we now have 10 kids and 2 on the way between our three families. What a party! It was so great to be with some of our dear "Grandview" family.
Daxton, Nathan, and Levi being boys

Dayton Learned to Ride a 2-Wheeler!
And Levi keeping up on the trike

These pictures are about as formal as they get around here. Sure love these boys. They are so excited for a little sister in about 7 weeks. She has no idea what she's getting into.

A lot has happened since, well, October. In response to recent requests (or demands :)),
here's the rundown:
First, we're expecting our third little King (or queen)! Second, Ben's job changed, a lot. An opportunistic job in Twin Falls, Idaho presented itself. The end of January we sold our first home and moved to Twin Falls. In the meantime . . .
We hosted our first Thanksgiving. In fact, this was our first Thanksgiving with familysince we got married. Mmmm, makes me hungry thinking about it!
We went sledding (despite what you think about New Mexico, we did get snow about an hour away).
Ben stuck  Levi on a tube and sent him down the hills-  Levi loved it.
We rode the Polar Express in Durango, CO.
And of course, celebrated Christmas!
Ben got into duck hunting
(yes, those are ducks hanging in my garage).
Levi would pull us to the garage to look at the "quack-quacks". So sad (although they tasted surprisingly good).
The boys have learned that it is fun to ride Ben together. What a good dad!
Then we moved to this cute yellow house in Idaho
(which is, conveniently, Dayton's favorite color. He's super proud).
So, to wrap it up- Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Valentines from Twin Falls!

Hello out there! Sorry for the lack of bloggage lately- after months of computer breakdowns, we finally broke down and got a new one. So, yes, we are alive and I promise to keep you updated, at least now and then.

Halloween!
(We were actually going for the super hero theme, but Levi screamed bloody murder when I tried to put on the superman costume; however, he did make a pretty cute frog)

Trick or treating was CRAZY here! This is a pretty bad picture, but I was trying to capture the  endless amounts of cars parked along our normally quiet street- getting in and out was like parking at a BYU football game. We were out doing some trick-or-treating ourselves, but our neighbor said he gave away almost 500 pieces of candy! We were home for 5 minutes and gave away 20 pieces. I guess the kids from the reservation ride buses into Farmington and they drop them off at a big church near our house. Everyone else drives in (as you can see)
This is my super-scary zombie sister who danced for the youth Odyssey team in Thriller

So, we've been traveling a lot lately- Ben's job is going to change quite a bit in January and only 1 of the current 13 CRNAs is staying. So, we went to Twin Falls, Pueblo, and Coos Bay for job interviews only to decide on working at the surgery center here in Farmington. We did have some fun trips though!

The Pueblo Zoo

Coos Bay, Oregon

Fun trip to Utah for one of my best girls, Brittany's baby shower!
Ruins at Mesa Verde

And a couple pictures of my favorite boys:
We're doing a mom-and-me preschool with 4 other boys.
Dayton came home a chef one day and now wants to help cook all the time.

Levi- always coming up with something!
