Christmas with Breag

Well our first Christmas with Breagan was AWESOME! You don't realize what you have been missing out on until you have the special spirit of a child in your home for Christmas.

She was so much fun! (And was happy the whole time even after all the festivities!) Santa Claus found her, and boy did she have a blast looking at all of her things!

Oops, Santa forgot to take one of the tags off! And, of course, our little Breag found it because those are her FAVORITE! :)

This is my favorite picture. She is such a sweet little girl and so much fun to be around. This shows how much I love being a mommy.

She got a 'Ride to Stride Lion' from Nana & Papa (Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Boyd)

And a 'Fur Real Kitty' from Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Jim. It has been mistaken more than once for our REAL cat JoJo, which is extremely creepy!

And Breagan got to hang out with her new cousin Mia!

It was an amazing Christmas! We could not have asked for better. We got to be with family and just enjoy the day with Breag. And I just have to thank Santa. He must read my blog because he did bring me the Sony Camera that I asked for. THANK YOU! Now if I can just figure out how to get the darn thing to work!

My world revolves around.....

This sweet little girl. I have no idea what we did without her. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. She is such a great baby and always keeps us laughing. And as if her smile wasn't enough to melt my heart, she started saying 'ma ma'. It almost puts me into tears everytime I hear her say it. I love her so much. I could never put into words what this precious girl has done to change my life. I love you Breag!

This is what happens when you don't take your contacts out. And this is how you end up walking around your house at 12:16 a.m. :

I woke up this morning and my eye felt like it had something in it. I went like that all day long until Chandler and my mom FORCED (yes, they practically had to drag me) me to go to the eye doctor. Let me just say that I am glad they did because I have a corneal ulcer and had it not been taken care of, I could have lost my eye sight. The doctor gave me some antibiotic eye drops and told me that I would be fine in a couple of days because we caught it before it did any permanent damage. I, however, cannot hardly see and my eye has been watering all day and the light just KILLS me. So I have resorted to wearing sunglasses in my house, which is working surprisingly well. :) So this is my friendly PSA for the day: Take out your contacts EVERY night or you'll end up like this!

I already know I'm going to be in trouble....

My mom is a very humble woman and does not like to flaunt the accomplishments that she makes. I, on the other hand, am not humble in any way, shape or form, so I shall flaunt her accomplishments for her! I love you Mom! I just wanted everyone to see your awesome buck! I'm so proud of you and love you so much. You are my best friend and I am so thankful that you are my mom. Thanks for all you do. I love you!

Not only did my stuff arrive at 4:30 p.m. (a mere 3 hrs. before I usually expect you to arrive) but this box only had MINIMAL damage compared to last time. Kudos to you UPS. Maybe things are looking up.....

So it's been a while

It's been entirely too long since I last blogged. Breagan keeps me pretty busy! We've had a really good couple of months. Chandler and I went to Las Vegas for a few days just to get away. Then Breagan had her first Halloween. And she's growing like a little weed. She is sitting up and eating tons of baby food. She still loves the cats and they are getting to like her a little bit also! Thursday November 12, she said her first words: Da da da da da. Chan was pretty excited and so was I! She's such a cute girl and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

We have also been getting ready for the holidays. This year, we are going to have Thanksgiving with Grandma Bonnie, Grandpa Jim, and the Bakers. We've never had Thanksgiving with Amber and her family, so it should be a lot of fun!

The world traveler has returned

Miss MoJo came home last night! Yay! (Sorry K'Brina, LoL!) I don't know where she went, but she finally made it home. She was a little bit dirty and meowed a lot when she got here, but she is doing well! It's amazing how attatched you can get to animals! I didn't think that I would ever be that upset about one of our cats leaving, but it bothered me a lot! I'm just glad that I can quit driving around the neighborhood cause I think the neighbors were starting to wonder what in the world I was doing!

MISSING

MISSING:

Her name is MoJo. She is pure black (not markings at all) and has pretty green eyes. She probably won't come to anyone because she's very wary of anyone but Chandler and I, but if you have saw her somewhere in my neighborhood, PLEASE let me know! She's been gone since early Friday morning and I'm starting to get a little bit worried about her!

6 months old already??

Wow, my baby is growing up! 6 months old already! She's still so happy and fun! We just love her! (And who couldn't love that cute smile?!?!?! Not that I'm bias or anything!) She rolls over now and is trying SO hard to sit up. She's very fascinated by Jojo still and loves to touch her. The cat isn't loving it, but she's decent about it! The poor cat has been to hell and back and still manages to be kind with Breagan!

This was at the Homecoming football game with Aunt Brinley. Breagan was super excited to be down with all the cheerleaders! She just sat and stared at them. I'm afraid we have a girly girl on our hands!

Bathtime Fun....

I saw my friend and old co-worker Christine at church yesterday and she told me that I needed to post more pictures. So that night I took some really cute pics of Breag in the bath. She was having SO much fun! Usually she isn't real thrilled during bathtime, but last night she was being a real ham and smiling a ton for me! Chan and I were loving every second of it! Thanks Christine for getting my butt in gear! :) Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten these cute pictures!

And you know that she is my child cause she's already excited about cake even though she's never had it before! She likes to sit on the counter and watch me cook, but she usually just ends up grabbing anything that's within her reach!

And this is how we eat dinner at our house. She likes to sit in her bouncer and have her sweet potatoes. It gets a little bit crowded and a little hard for me considering that I'm feeding 3 people-- Breagan, JoJo, and occasionally myself!-- but it's a good time for Chandler and I to talk and just spend some quiet time as a family.

Lagoon

A couple of weeks ago we went to Lagoon with my family. It was a really nice day and we had a lot of fun! It was really hot, and if you know me, I hate the heat. But other than that we had a very nice day!

Chandler and Brinley went on some pretty crazy rides! It made me sick just watching them!

And on the way home I got this gorgeous picture of the sun over the Pavahant Mountains. We had a great day! Thanks guys! :)

Growing up....

I finally gave in and put Breagan's pack-n-play away. She is now officially in her own room. Yes, the first night I layed in bed and cried, but things are going a lot better now! I'm still not loving it and have highly considered putting it back up more than once, but I have been strong.

Breagan also went to her first Volleyball game to watch Aunt Brinley cheer. She didn't quite know what to think about the whole thing, but she was very good and she even managed to squeeze in a nap!

She is starting at a young age learning how to cook. And what better teacher than dad!

Yep, she's our celebrity rockstar.

And since I know you were all concerned, JoJo is still alive and well and just as naughty as ever. (As you can see from the massive amounts of leaves, dirt, etc. on her!)
