Well for those who don't know...which is pretty much everyone besides our immediate family, Dustin and I are expecting a baby girl. I'm 18 weeks along and due in March. Ashton was REALLY hoping for a boy and didn't think it could go the other way. Once we explained that it was Heavenly Father's choice and not ours he kinda settled down. I guess we will have to open the fertile gate one more time and try for a brother :o)

A couple weeks ago we had our first family photos taken since Reagan has been born. I know I know, long time coming but I think they are worth the wait. It was fun taking them and we are excited to get a couple of them up in our house. I included here most of our favorites.

The last weekend of July our family headed up to Goosebury Campsite located a few miles outside of Salina, Utah. We spent 3 nights here for my mom's Family Reunion. We have come to this site the last few years and it has been wonderful. The facility is a bunch of cabins with a kitchen and real bathrooms and a huge common grassy area here we spend much time reconnecting with family..
Reagan enjoying her snacks and juice on our first day.
Ashton being silly with one of his favorite people, GRANDPA!
We decided to eat our lunch on bridge that is over a beautiful little creek. It didn't last long though because the rain started coming down.
We took shelter under the porch of one of the cabins.
It is beautiful here and Reagan wanted to touch the rain.
Ashton was quite disappointed come bed time because when we said "camping" he was anticipating sleeping in a tent and not a cabin. He was over it by the next morning.
Our 2nd day was spent at a lake about half an hour away. It was wonderful weather and the day couldn't have been nicer.
Ashton had fun with his MANY cousins digging in the stinky sand.
Later that night Uncle Michael taught Reagan the art of s'more making.
3 big grins, you can tell we are having fun!

Here is a cute video of Reagan and Shae Lynn enjoying the evening festivities!
My handsome brother Bryce with his sassy daughter Shae Lynn. Aren't they cute!
Here is 4 generations of women with the 2nd generation missing (my mom). It was nice to
see my Grandma Cazier who lives in Logan, UT. I don't get to see her very often but
when I do it's a treat!
After a night of marshmallows a bath in the community kitchen was just
what our messy girl needed.
So fresh faced and clean, isn't she a doll!
And before taking the 9 hour trip home my aunts and uncle posed for posterity sake!
My mom is the cute one dead center.

Over the 4th of July I was able to help out at Girls Camp by being the Camp Director for our ward. It was great to be able to get to know the girls and build relationships with the leaders. Our stake did a wonderful job and it was fun to go to Camp LoMia again after 10 years.
We had more leaders than girls but I bet its hard to tell who's who!
Michaela, Hailey and Emily were in the cabin with me and Kelley and it was fun having such great girls around for both girl time and spiritual time.
Kelley Crandell (Love Her!) and I were the leaders in the cabin and here they are decorating our Hawaiian themed cabin.
I call Ashton a poser but I love how cute he is when he does it!
We got a dog named Hazel and before before she learned the "House Rules" she ended up in the tub with the kids. It was funny and fun for them but that is just gross and won't happen again!

World Best Banana Bread

I have had a few friends request that I post this recipe. It came from my mother in law who got it from her mother who got it from who knows where. It is mildly bananaish and EXTREMELY moist. It really is the best I have ever had and it only takes 15 minutes from start to the oven Try it and Enjoy!

Preheat oven to 325*

Put the following in a blender and blend:
6 bananas (I put my frozen black ones in warm water for a few minutes then squeeze out the goo)
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
16 oz sour cream (this is what makes it so moist)
2 tsp vanilla

Mix the following dry ingredients together in a large bowl or Bosch:
4 cups flour
3 cups sugar
2 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Slowly mix the blender ingredients into the dry ingredients. Pour into 3 loaf or 3 muffin pans.
Loaf pans- 1 hour or until brown on top
Muffin pans- 10-15 minutes or until brown on top

*If you like chocolate chips in your bread add 1 cup mini chips to your dry ingredients*

Ashton's Birthday at Disneyland!

There are 2 places that Ashton has continuously asked to visit, Disneyland and the beach. Thanks to a good tax refund and some great travel deals we were able to surprise him with both for his 4th birthday. We packed up and left on Monday morning and told him we were heading to the beach. We spent Monday afternoon at Huntington Beach and loved every minute of it. Tuesday the 14th was his 4th Birthday and we told him we had a big surprise that day. While traveling on the shuttle to Disneyland we let it out of the bag and were pleased with his very excited confusion. It wasn't until we were inside the park and he saw the castle that it all clicked. Wednesday afternoon we came home with tons of pictures and  many memories that will be treasured forever.

Day at the Beach!
