Foxes X2

Hey Everyone - I always have so much fun participating in the ATC (Artist Trading Card) swaps over on the SVG Cuts Forum. You create a card that follows the theme and mail them to everyone in your group. It is so much better to get happy mail rather than bills in your mailbox!

For this month's theme it was Halloween with a Wedding twist. I played with the Halloween colors and decided to make some cute foxes on mine.

I created the foxes in Adobe Illustrator and saved out the layers as SVG files. It really took me quite some time and also took awhile to assemble all the cards. (Not sure how Mary at SVG Cuts does it every week!)

Here is where it ties into the wedding theme. Mary and Leo recently tied the knot and just love the 2 little foxes they used as their wedding topper:

So since i worked hard and long on those foxes thought I would share them with you!

Click on the image below to download them:
(Please note I did not cut the black elements --- I used gems for the eyes and noses)

It's a Heat Wave!

Hey Everyone - here are my latest ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) for the SVG Cuts Swap on their Forum. The theme for this time is Heat Wave. I love a big old glass of iced tea with a lemon on a summer day so decided to work in the lemon.

The ATCs swaps are so fun - it is happy mail for sure when you go to the mailbox!

Here is a cute little box I made ~ perfect for a little gift. It is from SVG Cuts Hippity Hoppity SVG Kit.

Thanks for stopping on by today.

Happy 4th

Happy 4th of July to you. I am back to blogging! Here’s a look at some fun Patriotic ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) I made for a recent SVG Cuts Swap.

I used the 2013 from the Patriotic Parade SVG Kit. The little firecracker is from Echo Park. I did a print and cut on my Cameo.

I made this little holder - it is a reduced version of the CD Holder from the Summer Blockbuster SVG Kit.

Here is a look at the cool ATCs I received from my group. I just love em!

There is a Summer Heat Wave Swap just posted on the SVG Cuts Forum - Head on over and sign up!

Enjoy your holiday ~ have a safe one.

Gathering Memories

Hopefully you will have many Happy Gathering Memories this Thanksgiving!
Here is a look at the Fall ATC I created for the latest swap over in the SVG Cuts Forum.

It was super fun to make. The little owl is from SVG Cuts Acorn Autumn SVG Kit.
I cut the Stampable on my Sizzix Eclips and stamp from Punkin’ Patch Stamps - Heirloom Traditions.

Twine is from Trendy Twine and they are having a Many Thanks Challenge
I used a thin line of Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue on the back of the card and added the twine.
When that was dry I turned the card over and did the same on the front. Worked perfect!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Many thanks for stopping by my blog!!

Back to School ATCs

Hey everyone ~ Hope your weekend is going great. We are wrapping up an ATC (Artist Trading Card) Swap over on the SVG Cuts Forum. Theme for this time around was back to school. Here are the ones I sent out.

I used the owl freebie from SVG Cuts - 2/4/12. Pick em up if you don't already have them. I cut them on my Sizzix and used some Basic Grey paper ~ Oxford line.

Not only are the ATCs fun to make but they are so fun to get in the mail.
Here is a look at some of the cool ATCs I received. I was in Group 1.
These are from Erin T, Veronica H and Debra V.

These ATCS are from Laura M, Trina S, Elizabeth S & Linda H.
These swaps are really catching on over on the forum
The next swap was just posted today - Halloween theme.

Who doesn't love some fun Fall projects? Have you seen SVG Cuts latest ~ Acorn Autumn SVG Kit? There are bunches of acorns "falling” on the SVG Cuts FB Page. You have to go check them out.

Happy Crafting friends!

Beach ATCs

Hope you had a good week. As I am working on my Back to School ATCs from over on the SVG Cuts Forum I just realized I never shared my beach ATCs. These first two photos are the ones I sent out. I decided to make them all different.

The little sandcastle cut and sand dollar cut are from the Wet N Wild SVG Kit. It has bunches of great 3D items and Mary always saves some of the items as flat SVGs perfect for cards or scrapbook pages. The little turtle is from Tropical Friends SVG Collection.

For these two I cut the shell and sandcastle from a cream colored card stock. It was a bit boring so I used my Copic Markers to add some subtle tone.

Here is a look at all the wonderful ATCs I received from Group 2.
Aren't they fantastic?

So along with my Back to School ATCs I plan to make something for my sons’ teachers. Both boys have male teachers this year who are big into the Steelers. I am thinking they would like something from the latest SVG Cuts Kit ~ Football Party SVG Kit.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!

Summertime!

I've been super busy since getting back from vacation. I did find some time to make these Summertime ATCs for the SVG Cuts Forum Swap.

I used shells I gathered from the beach. Unfortunately I did not bubble wrap them when I sent and Beth got a crushed shell in her envelope :( . Lesson learned...next time use the bubble wrap.

Now for the details. I used SVG Cuts Tropical Friends Collection. I also used Creative Charms Gradient Gems, Vintage Jewel Brads & Gradient Pearl Stickers. Twine is from The Twinery.

Here is a quick card I made using the SVG Cuts Tropical Friends Collection.

I am keeping my summertime vibe going even though I am not on the beach collecting shells.

Have a great weekend!

Floral ATCs

I created this Floral ATC for the Swap over at the SVG Cuts Forum. How cool is it - one of these went to Cindy the whole way overseas in Germany and I got her beautiful ATC? Join in the next swap - it is a Patriotic Swap!

I used the hydrangea file from SVG Cuts Moonlight Garden Party, the stamp is from Pink By Design & added Creative Charms gradient gems to accent. I made the little folder SVG last time around.

Check out Cheryl’s Blog - she is expecting her first grandbaby and has a giveaway. She is a very talented paper crafter - stop by and congratulate her!

Easter ATCs

I had so much fun making these Easter ATCs for the SVG Cuts Swap. ATC stands for Artist Trading Card. They are 2.5" wide x 3.5" high.

I tried to pair a fun whimsical card with a more traditional card.

These work perfect for cards or a cute little bag.

Join in on the next swap - I think it is going to be a floral swap. Fun!

Sneak Peek & Free SVG

I decided to make a little holder for the ATCs I am making for the Easter ATC Swap over at SVG Cuts Forum. Thought you might like it for your ATCs if you are participating in the swap.

Here is a sneak peek (sorry can’t show you the ATCs until they are sent and received).

Initially I made the folder to fit the standard 2.5" w x 3.5" h size. But soon realized I hardly ever kept my ATCs to exact that size. So I sized it up.

Here is an inside view...

Here’s a look at the back of my ATCs. They are going out tomorrow and will share photos middle of next week.

Have a great weekend!

Spring ATCs

Just realized I never posted my Spring ATCs to my blog. These were for the last ATC Swap over at SVG Cuts and now we are on to the Easter ATC Swap.

I was recently introduced to ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) and joined a swap over on the SVG Cuts Fourm. Here are a few of the spring themed ATCs I made. They are 2.5" wide x 3.5" high and work perfect on cards, tags, & bags. Embellishments from Creative Charms.

I started working on my Easter themed ATCs for the current swap. Will share those soon!
