Colorado wildfires: Fires burn more than 290 square miles, nearly twice the size of Denver

Aspen Acres fire, Colorado's largest active wildfire, jumped several thousand acres, spurred on by windy afternoon thunderstorms to consume more than 93,000 acres, or 145 square miles.
