The im4java-project hosted at sourceforge.net just published release 1.4.0. The project aims to provide a pure-java interface to commandline tools which process images. Main focus are the various ImageMagick / GraphicsMagick commandline tools.

This release adds some new features as well as support for 27 additional commandline-options of ImageMagick.

This release contains only a minor documentation change (link to im4java at maven-central). No need to upgrade.

This release features a much faster code-generation and an improved Info-class. In addition, there were a number of small bugfixes.

With this release the project changed the development status to stable. Main improvements from the last release are the added documentation (with a relaunch of the website) and much better Windows-support.

The 0.99.0 release added support for defining the search path for binaries. Also, there were some minor fixes and additions to interface-definition-files.
