This bug was already reported on launchpad (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acidrip/+bug/371232).

AcidRip label, inside applications -> audio & Video (under gnome) is not translated in Italian.
In fact it reports "AcidRip Dvd Ripper". I think a solution for Italian could be "AcidRip - estrattore di DVD"

Tested with Acidrip 0.14-0.2 and Ubuntu 10.04 (alpha)

I've tried reinstalling libsdl-pango, fontconfig and acidrip. No help. Google turned up the same problem for Fedora Core and Arch Linux. I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty).

When attempting to start ripping, the AcidRip window closes, and then reopens, the status bar saying "Encoding finished, hoped it worked...". The debug window gives the following series of events following the push of the Start button:

AcidRip message - Pushed events onto queue
AcidRip message - Not enough space in output directory!

I have much more free disk space than the 700 MB necessary to store the finished rip, and there is no documentation that could explain to me exactly how much temporary storage is needed.

Crop detect on all discs is failing, asking if the disc has been inserted. Problem was first noticed when switching from MPlayer version 1.0pre07 to 1.0pre08.

status remain blank. Acidrip is encoding fine but it
gives you no indication of its progress.

acidrip calculates a wrong bitrate. In my case this
results in an oversized file, 1.6G instead of 1.4G.

Hi All,

When I try to rip a DVD, I create new project using
DVD:Rip, then from
Rip Title tab, I click on Read DVD table of contents,
and I get the
following error:

The output of lsdvd is a Perl data structure which is
evaluated by
dvd::rip. And this fails due to a syntax error in line
67 (I verified
that with the output you sent).

So lsdvd generates illegal output here. Please report
that to the author
of lsdvd. Thanks.
