Aquileo | Says complete ,but when I run again, says 18% un-defrag

why did UD show a disk as defragged with some low 2% un-defragged, but when i click Full Optimize again immediately after (without any changes to disk), it then shows about 18% un-defragged?

I don't know why, but when the disk is bigger, the longer UD is thinking. He scans the volume and then is a minute pause while nobody knows what UD is thinking about. For 8 TB drive there is one minute of pause, for smaller disks less.

In modern computers UD shouldn't be taking that long time to analyse or compute the defragmentation effects. Something is wrong. This shouldn't be that way.

Thanks for posting, but this won't work. The issue was not UltraDefrag at all. It was Microsoft and another Windows 10 update issue. This is confirmed. I now can no longer update Windows 10 to the latest version due to this issue.

What happened was my Windows 10 performed an automatic update without me even knowing it the same time I performed a boot defrag. I have since disabled all updates to Windows 10. When one does this, Microsoft silent and secretly forces "safe" updates to your computer after several months.

You might as well try fixing it in command prompt

..To get best perfomance. does it matter whitch I do first. Whitch is likely to give me the best gane. Ime using V9.

Or does Full Optimisation also defrag (i.e. I should only do this).

I'm FRENCH my english is not so good unfortunatly
I am under W7 64 UPDATED to the hilt

I have been using ULTRADEFRAG 7.008 or something like
It ate 50 GO on my small disk
& 25 more on the second try!!! This why I'm almost sure of ULTRADEFRAG creating disaster

Can you URGENTLY HELP clean my disk (291 GO now 35!!)
with a little patching program incluging a .bat for easier acting

I'am realy at a loss and very annoyed I need every bit of space on my computer which is mostly important for me
