He scans the volume and then is a minute pause while nobody knows what UD is thinking about. For 8 TB drive there is one minute of pause, for smaller disks less.

In modern computers UD shouldn't be taking that long time to analyse or compute the defragmentation effects. Something is wrong. This shouldn't be that way.

Piotr BiesiadaFri, 01 Apr 2022 14:29:50 -0000https://sourceforge.net5277a9c97c1a1893ddc0c2c898dcca786210629fAquileo | Boot Defrag Stops Windows 10 Startuphttps://sourceforge.net/p/ultradefrag/discussion/709673/thread/3f59ab9791/?limit=250#f0b2

Thanks for posting, but this won't work. The issue was not UltraDefrag at all. It was Microsoft and another Windows 10 update issue. This is confirmed. I now can no longer update Windows 10 to the latest version due to this issue.

What happened was my Windows 10 performed an automatic update without me even knowing it the same time I performed a boot defrag. I have since disabled all updates to Windows 10. When one does this, Microsoft silent and secretly forces "safe" updates to your computer after several months.

JamilMon, 30 Aug 2021 10:03:05 -0000https://sourceforge.net895448f57336032ac05f5be4815b8cba57109fb0Aquileo | Boot Defrag Stops Windows 10 Startuphttps://sourceforge.net/p/ultradefrag/discussion/709673/thread/3f59ab9791/?limit=25#7cd8

You might as well try fixing it in command prompt
You can refer to this post to learn how to get into command prompt out of Windows how to boot into command prompt

Jon PeickyMon, 30 Aug 2021 03:42:52 -0000https://sourceforge.net6110c21b8e35ee7ac5635de52623f9cc513cdcb3Aquileo | Should I defrag and optimise..https://sourceforge.net/p/ultradefrag/discussion/1050388/thread/40cbe3e694/?limit=25#8e0c

Can someone please delete this thread, i posted in wrong place.

funkytwigMon, 17 May 2021 10:27:36 -0000https://sourceforge.net347b92dbaba7ac10015630b01010ceaac51bde54Aquileo | Should I defrag and optimise.. https://sourceforge.net/p/ultradefrag/discussion/709672/thread/ebca3f1c77/?limit=25#a5fe

..To get best perfomance. does it matter whitch I do first.
