<div class="markdown_content"><p>I don't know why, but when the disk is bigger, the longer UD is thinking. He scans the volume and then is a minute pause while nobody knows what UD is thinking about. For 8 TB drive there is one minute of pause, for smaller disks less.</p> <p>In modern computers UD shouldn't be taking that long time to analyse or compute the defragmentation effects. Something is wrong. This shouldn't be that way.</p></div>

<div class="markdown_content"><p>Thanks for posting, but this won't work. The issue was not UltraDefrag at all. It was Microsoft and another Windows 10 update issue. This is confirmed. I now can no longer update Windows 10 to the latest version due to this issue.</p> <p>What happened was my Windows 10 performed an automatic update without me even knowing it the same time I performed a boot defrag. I have since disabled all updates to Windows 10. When one does this, Microsoft silent and secretly forces "safe" updates to your computer after several months.</p></div>
